Truth be told, a lot of construction was done last 5 years. The country was one huge construction site. I'm glad to see projects are set to begin picking back up. The impact on tourism should be great. I've been on that route by road a few times.

One benefit is that some tourists who have just disembarked from the cruise ship may arrive at the hotel faster, reducing the time spent on the road. In the past, these tourists may have to cancel their hotel reservations early due to inconvenient roads

The road is on what was called the ten.mile coastal strip....we have lost great history of great trade which proved its strenth by fighting the portugues invasion for 200 yrs
We must protect this history and avoid rushing into european.based tourism that corrupts african youth as we have observed
The migration using forced squatership towards the sea is land grabbing of swahili.lands that will destroy a great african civilization
Tourism has a much better place if real experts not opprtunist were involved
The city states of the swahili coast attracted ppl like ibn batuta are potenial dubais of our own but big tribe democracy is captured by eueopean neo colonialism
Development in coast without swahili civilization is a walk into dark corrupt territory of no real.profit
