I don't understand the expected completion dates. Are they starting with lot 2 and then lot 1? Seems the former's completion date is further than the latter.
Lot 1 is 13km dual carriageway with footpaths and at least 5 interchanges! Lot 2 is longer but only single carriageway with minimal interchanges that’s why it’ll be completed faster!
Unfortunately the debt is necessary. All these roads should have been constructed consistently from the 60/70s but two and a half decades under you-know-who were wasted. What we're doing now is catching up. If we're to move forward as a country, this is necessary.
