Have you heard of the Imperial Guard? Same experience really.
My personal headcanon is that Ignis are cursed with respawn immunity: so like Kenny from South Park, they can die (in horrific ways) but they just reappear again right after.
They are also completely chaotic as a result of severe PTSD from constant death, and just go along with whatever military/militia/armed group tells them to do.
Broken men turned into unbreakable tools of war, forever damned to fight for eternity, barely holding sanity through screaming, friendship, and memes.

I used to regular this game and still play occasionally, but the last time I did dedicated Logi for a war, these poor guys on the eastern front had held onto a small peninsula in warden territory. As a result they had to live (and by extension I had to supply them) through five IRL days of shelling.
I will never forget that one chad of a CGC member who repaired my truck after it got hit.

I feel like God himself was guiding the artillery throughout the video. All of the shells just annihilate a ton of Colonial soldiers every time it seemed like. The accuracy on it as well was just ridiculous. Man I wish I could get this game.

Yes, sometimes we do indeed go "nudge left up 1 tick" just to hit a trench full of Collies. It's the only way to counter grenade launcher spam ... "120mm continuous defensive fire, commence" :)
How does Jay hit everything with his AT rifle but the second I pick one up it prefers the sky to enemy vehicles and people
Use the gun in it's preferred range (white line). The Shell, grenade or bullets will go straight (or in in a trajectory) in it's path. After the range it will be begin playing russian Roulette with everything that is infront of it.
This game looks so hard to play with such a limited perspective and view range. Kind of claustrophobic to watch lol is it that bad in game?
@@claytonkickflip7595 I’ve got many, manyyyy hours in this game and I’ll tell you it’s a lot better than it looks. With that being said I played a lot of RTS games so I guess I’ve already been used to it? But I highly recommend the game. If your still on the fence about it wait for a sale!
@@jamyorday I got several thousand hours in the game and I still wished that there was a 1st person view that was almost exactly as good as this. It would be great.

Pro Tip: When outnumbered, charge the enemy with melee weapons. The enemy is either too confused to kill you, or you go out without anybody knowing you tried to 1v50 machine gunners with a knife.
Summary of video: artillery is hell, tanks are awesome and terrifying, suicide rushing is viable, anti tank ammo is a deleted button for mortal men and ignis is ignis

It took me about 20 minutes to realise that I suck at this game, so I just attached myself to the War Journalists and ran around with Mine that looked like a camera.
All you need now is a high vis jacket.
Every time I see Foxhole content, I'm reminded of how many reviews on the store page are furries who expected lewd stuff, and got PTSD instead.

@@johngun4377 Its like those Orks who are in Khorne's realm and are just fighting forever. Whenever they die, Khorne just revives them so they continue to fight, but the thing is, the Orks fucking love it. I don't remember their names, but I'll remember it later.

Dang, I guess the warden artillery men are so experienced it looks as if they're using smart artillery rounds.
The thing is it sorta is smart artillery, Wardens use their own men that charge into trenches as targets and 90% of the time it actually hits them taking along whoever else is in the blast friendly or not

Wonderful fact about why you're dying to artillery so much.
In foxhole while arty has a large area it can hit the die roll to decide where it hits is heavily favored to direct hit players.
This is why its important to space out when being shelled and why when you're hiding in a bunker it feels like Callahan is personally disappointed in you.
Note Warden arty operators are also absolutely cracked and this is most notable when you see storm cannon duels.
I've had an assumption not too far away from that for a while now. Where did you find that info?

Man, im just remembering my first day, im a fresh recruit in the Colonial Legion and i find myself in a a trench section right near some warden fortifications, basically hell, theres pretty much constant gunshots and death everywhere, me with my rat instincts have been scavenging dead bodies for gear (since i was new i was following the rule of taking the minimum amount of equipment: which is 2 reloads for my guns, 2 bandages, and a single grenade since its trench fighting) which did net me a radio, more bandages, more ammo, more grenades, and also luckily a gas mask. At some point later the medic that was working the trench section i was in ended up getting killed, which me seeing this and realizing the fact that we are only just holding this section and that medics been a big part of it, i rush over and start stuffing his medical gear into my pockets and ended up becoming an impromptu medic for the section and managed to keep enough people alive to hold the trench until the proper medic got back in which i still kept helping medic people until i eventually managed to "appropriate" a medic uniform, honestly i played a big part in the small area since i saved quite a large amount of people, though the did usually die not to long after i mediced them, but it was due to enemy bullets so i never got in trouble for impersonating a medic and having very little medical knowledge, most of what i did was to just pump them full of drugs and stitched them up, but hey i was just a brand new recruit right out of basic training with only medical knowledge being how to bandage myself up, its not my fault nobody asked if i was a "real" doctor/medic with a "real" medical license.

Reminds me how a few wars back I was purposely targeted by a warden mortar squad, I'd try to repair this ONE bunker piece on a trench line and they'd nail me everytime. It'd get to the point where I'd grab some folks and we'd time how long it took for them to hit me. It was 4 to 5 seconds consistently, though sometimes itd be 7 to 8 if they were feeling a little slow. I have never felt as personally attacked as I did with that warden mortar crew.

As someone who has been playing on and off since beta. Storm-cannons and other very long range guns either have a guy with binoculars, or some guy with a radio backpack feeding coordinates to the operators. It's why if you see guys with radio backpacks and other scout gear kill them quickly because their buddies on the guns are going to start shelling.
