Hello, I'm a student in UCD and I am looking for accomodation, for the next year on home stays and I asked them for visit but they r asking to pay deposit first then they'll show the accomodation .
Deposit €2-3k.

From my knowledge nobody ask for deposit just to view the house. They only ask for deposit once you confirm that you’ll stay in that home

You can manage your rent and living expenses through your part time job but you can’t manage your fees as you only get 20hr per week in student visa.
