I read this fic about Nadine & Krista called "Have a heart," and that inspired me to make this video.
I didn't have much love for Krista in the movie. She didn't do much for me, and I couldn't understand how she could just tear apart Nadine and Darian and send Nadine on such a downward spiral. But this fic kind of changed my perspective.

Here's a sample "It wasn’t so much that Krista’s opinion represented everyone else’s like a litmus test of social acceptability: it was that Krista’s was the only one that mattered. I hated Krista, she legit picked Nadine’s brother over her best friend since they were little! And then expected her to be ok with that.
Nadine was the one who screamed "we're over" when Krista said she didn't want to choose. Lmao you need to rewatch the movie.

It’s clearly obvious Krista being in a relationship with Nadine’s brother would get in the way of their friendship, it was also very rude and mean of Krista to ditch Nadine at that party to hang out with random strangers, so I have to agree with you.

Krista is such a toxic friend. Insted of making sacrifices apparently to her popularity is more important thst nadine who had her back since 2nd grade
I will have to disagree with you on that one, eventhough I love Nadine, she has t realise that not everything is about her, she put Krista on the spot demanding her to choose and at the same time Krista never wanted to choose between them bcuz Nadinne has been her best friend for years and she just developed feelings for her brother, you cant choose who you fall for and who you dont fall for, so Krista isn't to blame here

I feel so bad for Nadine😔😔
Maturing is realizing that they were BOTH being toxic. Nadine was more toxic without realizing it though bc instead of trying to process why Krista didn't want to choose, she just immediately thinks that she's only a second choice without even considering that her bsf isn't just there to fill the dark hole that her mom and brother drilled, her bsf is a person with feelings just like hers too. And Nadine didn't stop to consider Krista's feelings while Krista still tried considering Nadine's feelings, which is why Krista didn't try to reconcile with Nadine afterwards.
Yuh but Krista was wrong for fxcking her brother and excluding nadine at the party.
@@I.love.cats__ for the first one, yeah Krista should have talked to her first and moved her to her room. As for the party, Krista should have included her, but Nadine was overreacting. She was literally upset that Krista has other friends and a life outside of being her bff. Krista did call her after the party to check on her.They were both being toxic and had to learn from it.
Of course they were both in the wrong, but I think it’s more of a betrayal from Krista’s part. She knew about Nadine’s family troubles, she knew Nadine didn’t get along well with her family and had a resentment towards her brother. So why would she date him? She could date anyone but chooses the one person she KNOWS Nadine will have a problem with. That’s selfish. At the end of the movie Nadine grew up and matured, and I think she was the only one who did.

krista and a bad friend because as soon as she and Nadine's brother are married she invites Nadine, but Krista and Darian sound in couples her being the girl who burns the candle after her brother present Krista has a friend she abandons her friend like it was nothing
and then she's going to see her as if nothing happened to Nadine upset her to choose between Nadine or darian (who and limit but her and angry) and she chooses him (best friend ever) and then she pretends to have forgotten
Krista know what Nadine was need someone to support her not once she try to be Friends again she know how she was feel and Nadine need her next to her plus a true best friend would always be there for you and try to be Friends again then she left her on the floor she could at lest try to put her on the bed and at the end she said she miss her but she forget adout her
