  • Adding a low voltage battery disconnect module to your solar setup will help to protect your solar batteries from being over-discharged and extend your solar battery lifespan.
    This is only applicable to inverters as shown in this video. For SNADI/SNAT and etc, inverters already have advanced features like low voltage battery disconnect and reconnect and etc.

    What is the point of the relay, isn't there already one on the LVM board? Can't you just connect to the toggle switch leads and off you go?

    Thanks for this video, I am looking for a 300watt inverter that does not have the LVD in it. Do you have any recommendations?

      Hi Deano, most of the inverters had already a low voltage protection system, but is not adjustable. Like the inverter I used as you've seen in the video, the specs said that the Low Battery Shutdown point is at 9.7-10.4V which I do not like as my battery is well drained. That is why I add another LVD module that is adjustable.     I accidentally ordered the wrong relay, a JQC-3F(T73)-12VDC. Will it still work for this build?
