Hi, love watching this particular video, such a nice change to get away from painted surfaces in the home, the colour real suits the design of the room! I’m curious as to how you maintain a consistent colour. Is it a water based dye that you are using and I see that you pour something into the kettle from 2 cans, would you mind giving a little more detail on the subject? You have been a great help to me while refurbing my home and I would just like to say thank you for all your skill, time and effort that goes into making these videos.

Nice result from with a stain colour that you wouldn't normally expect but bought out the grain beautifully combined with semi satin finish. Made it look so much better and higher quality. Any recommendations on varnish remover/removal please?

Thank you, it was Ronseal satin water based, very good varnish for interior.

Looks superb once you've attended to it. Why did people varnish wood to make it orange? It's hideous and you see it everywhere.

Yes you really do have to be careful when it comes to staining wood. Most of the time clear varnish is enough to enhance the grain. Thanks
