I never had a fatherly figure to teach me about cars and how to fix things on my own but with this video I learned how to change my tail light bulb. So thank you so much for teaching me
Best comment I have ever received on this channel. Humbling to know that I am blessed to be a blessing.
I don't understand why you would give this a thumbs down. Step by step clear with tools instructions Not only to remove but to put back. Thank you for your info and your time making this video nice job bro.
because it doesn't work
@@shadowdinoxd7811 then you must be one kind of special stupid. In a league of your own.
@@shadowdinoxd7811 Doesn’t work?
I just change mine for the 1st time since I bought My 2016 in 2017 and it went exactly like He said
Everything exactly , to the mm , including how hard to break it lose but having to get it pushed evenly.
It definitely wasn’t the video doing anything wrong. You were just being a weenie.
he broke the tab holding the front corner of it
@@tylerbidiman4346 I did not catch that. Lol.
Good job catching that
Four years later, and this video is still proving useful. Thanks!
4:05 Wow, this is the 1st video I've ever watched in my 4 yrs of Altima ownership, that doesn't show the person struggling to take off their tail light!
Read the comments. 50/50 split on people easily getting it off or it never comes out. Hit and miss I guess.
Even to this day your video was the best explained in apply pressure to middle as you slide light assembly out. I nearly cracked mines prying with screwdriver
Thank you for the compliment. I am glad to see my old videos being still relavant and useful.
I lift weights and I'm having a hard time pushing the light housing and this guy. One push and bata boom, done. Damn it! I ain't lifting no mo! Lol
Lmao 😂 I’m having the same problem. Easier said than done. My hands not working right
Me too
@@kimspearman6380 Same, it just depends how wedged in it is. I pushed pretty damn hard too and the car was just rolling back and forth.
Thank you. Used your video to change my son’s brake light today. Even with the instructions that housing was a little bit of a bugger to “push” out. Thanks again for your video
Spot on.
Very detailed. I like ppl that pay attention to little detail (rubbers) that matter down in long run. Thank you. Much appreciate it.
Thanks for the help, dealer wanted 90$ to do what you showed me for free and it worked. Great video.
In that case I deserve a tip... Just kidding. Hope you subscribed.
thanks my g.
Twin pack of bulbs from auto zone cost me $9.19. 6 minutes of Labor with help of your video.
And Nissan wanted over $70 for this!!
This is probably one of the best instructional videos on CZcams. I never would have figured out how to pop that housing out of the retainer clips. Well done!
worked like a charm on my 2013. amazing video and I have never done this before but your directions were spot on. thanks!!
I just changed the bulb. Clear instructions made it very easy.
Same perfect instructions now if I didn’t drop one of the nuts it would have been quicker to fix but back to normal now.
Yea , This Dude is a blessing.
Clear and easy to understand.
Much appreciated.
Great tip on using the flat of your hand to push firmly on the outside of the taillight assembly, also testing before reassembling. Thanks for your excellent instructional video.
After 9 yrs my bulb finally went out and your vid saved me some headaches
Thank you for a good quality and solid step by step video 👍🏾
Thank you!! I was able to do it myself in minutes.
Wow you just saved me. Driver side popped right off. Passenger was a serious pain but luckily your video came up, and it popped off 2nd try with that technique
I had to go back to figure out how to get the light out!! Omg! Like all the other comments... GREAT VIDEO! THANK YOU!!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Pushing the tail light how u said helped with removing them! Excellent method!
This video saved me some frustration. Thanks!
Thank u. I needed this step-by-step video as I have a broken tail light. God bless you sir. -B
Thank you for the excellent video. Very detailed and someone like me with little to no experience did it in less than 5 minutes
Thanks for taking the time forsharing this. Quick and easy!
Perfectly executed video... thanks man! Exactly what I needed
Good and helpful instructions. I appreciate it. Took less than the length of the video to do the left side and the right side was just as quick. One thing I did not do was remove the grommets from the liner. I hate those things and usually mess them up. So if I can get by without removing them the better off I am. I was able to get to the two nuts easy and it was a snap. Thanks JJ
Thank you for the feedback.
Thank you Sir! Awesome Info on how to change rear tail light bulb!!!!
Thanks a million for this invaluable information. I was trying to remove the brake light assembly after removing the two 8mm nuts but it wouldn't move. Now I know why. Thanks again.
Worked perfectly. Thank you for the step by step instruction.
Thank you!! I have to do this tonight.
Excellent tutorial. Thanks for posting this!
Thank u so much! Your directions were clear & accurate ❤
Thank you so much! A week before I’m readying to travel across three states one of my back tail lights decides to go out. I found out by getting pulled over, yay!-no ticket, thank goodness.
Thanks was so helpful and easy to do by how you demonstrated
Great step-by-step video. Thank you!
I have 2014 and this method is not working
Thanks for a clear and helpful video!
Great video. Very clear step by step explanations. Exactly what I needed. Thanks!
They don’t like this video because they want you to pay a mechanic and think the bumper needs to come out! Just to charge you like 100 bucks thanks for the video i needed that push and it came off easy !! Thank you !!
5 min job tops. ty so much for this vid!
Very good instructions got it right first time, I didn’t remove none of the clips :)
Thank you for this! You made this so easy to understand and follow!
Excellent instructions! Note we were able to remove the right-side assembly without removing any carpet tags.
You sir are amazing worked for my 2014 Nissan Altima
One hitter quitter. Nicely done man.
Thank you so much, I watched your video and went outside and did it!
Thank you so much for this video u saved so much time and money
4:07 haha didn't expect that smooth hit 🎯 like a boss
The people who gave it a thumbs down are probably pissed that the light wont come out easily. I've done it and I broke the taillight trying to push and pull it out. You actually have to hit it hard to get it to come out. Or at least I did. Small break in the plastic but it got changed and works
Thank you for your informative video, Great Job.
Very good - many thanks!! Worked perfectly!
Thank You for the great video this helps me out a lot..
Thank you! That helped us a lot!
yes, Thank you got my back parking light replaced.
Nice, clear, concise.
The housing is too tough to pull for me. I tried to push and pull as hard as I can and it doesn't move at all. Yes I did unscrew those two screws. Any tips?
Was you able to get them off. I’m having difficulty taking my taillight off
Me also had to run duck tape down light and pull hard numerious times!!!
Great video. Thanks for the help.
Thanks buddy very helpful 🖒👍
Great video. Thank you.
Made my life easier thank you sir

Anybody still here? I had 1 of my tail light not working buh brake light works, took out the bulb both filaments are good, I replaced the bulb anyway and it still the same problem of having the tail light not coming on
@@Shaidamain On the approx 2017 Sentra they actually have a factory defect that causes your exact problem, but I don't know if it carries over to the Altima. My son had wire harnesses replaced a couple times under warranty.
Accurate & concise good video 📷
Very helpful. Thanks!
Thank you! What is the name for the plastic part with wires that the bulb goes into?
Thanks so much for this dead on with step by step
This video was very helpful...

Brother you are a genius! I was breaking my head how I was gonna replace the bulb. I suppose it works the same for 2017
