@yittmashups I've been saying this about Miley for years, I grew up with her music. She's always had a grungy cool girl voice. I wish she had gone alternative after the early Hannah montana country stuff. She would've been absolutely amazing. I'm not a fan of her pop music but I like her voice a lot. She's also super pretty, and has rocked any slightly alternative clothing or hair she's had. Pop punk grunge stuff or some similar genre would have risen her to fame similar to what she has now. Her various covers of rock music are pretty good too, like pink Floyd, the velvet underground, blondie, metallica, pearl jam, etc.

Worked with her uncle once in Brisbane, Australia, she was pregnant at the time I think. He said she was warned that singing like that long term would cause her vocal chords damage. I had forgotten about them till I remembered them by being triggered by something random some 20 odd yrs later and looked this song up again 😂 It still rocks.

I bought Coral Fang around this time in 2004; it's autobiographical Christmas music for me(trust me that's a compliment) , and the only thing I bought for myself that year (worth it). I have evolved with time and age from adolescence; but as the weather begins to cool each year, this album still makes me feel all warm, and fuzzy.
