Jerry Seinfeld age 25 = looks 40
In a room filled with the world's greatest comedians, the biggest A-list actors and icons and the greatest SNL cast members ever, Larry David got the biggest laughs and reaction. As it should be.
& he hated it!
because of the connection between seinfeld and him
Well it was most likely cause it was jerry that was hosting…
@@huckleberrylachow2202 True but guarantee that it would’ve been the same without
No he didnt
4:44 Jeff Goldblum was so happy to see himself on the screen 😂
LOL good catch
And looks like Tom Arnold is also excited beside him
He's like big child 😂
Jim Breuer was quite confused
Omg XD
I love how fucking Stephen Spielberg is just sitting casually in the background of the John Goodman shot like only on SNL
George Lucas is in that shot too.
I was really shocked to see some faces.
Was it Jack fucking Nicholson appearing only in a fraction of a second when John Goodman sat down?
@@hosseynshanbehzaadeh9342 thought some too
Jeff Goldbloom in a bowtie at 4:44. Need I say more?
Let's be honest, I completely stole this bit.
+Larry David You did Larry, yes you did.
+Larry David That's nothing, Amy Schumer stole lots of comedians bits.
+Larry David and it was pretty, pretty, pretty good
+Larry David Fish in the Dark sucked. I want my $300 back.
Larry David It was definitely you up there.
Larry are u going to the party? NO, why would i go to the party? classic Larry David
Larry is a comedy god. Adam Sandler's got nothing on him.
I lost it there too :D
I love Larry David. Hopefully he would do one more season of curb you enthusiasm
Raphell Smith and by one you mean 5 right?
Andy Herte yes.....5 and keep on going lol.
“Larry are you going to the party?”
“No”
Hilarious
I love how the question is barely out of Jerry's mouth when the answer comes.
And he actually didn’t
Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld's friendship is kinda wholesome tbh
I need more content with them together.
No. Why, why would I go to the party?
The best part is, Larry ACTUALLY didn't go to the party. 😂😂
How do you know?
Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David -nearly 1billion in combined wealth generated from that show. George and Kramer didn't do so well. Elaine never had to worry, daddy owned the Dreyfus Fund.
No Way , Jason Alexander and Michael Richards both have a net worth of $45-$50 million. I’d say they did pretty well.
@@noway2434 Larry and Jerry are worth almost 1 billion dollars each
@iAmCyber I will as soon as you stop being a P.O.S., 😊😘.
The shot of Larry in the crowd still selling the bit as the camera pans out and everyone clapping is my favorite part of the sketch. Dude's seriously a genius even if/when it's unintentional
Larry what a great bit- Larry David , “you thought that was a bit?”
The fact that John Mulaney wrote this makes it so much funnier. I imagine everyone speaking in his voice.
Mulaney is a genius
Did he really?
😳 Man, that guy...
@@joefriedman9843 yes 👏
He’s probably coked out
:) Now I know who to thank for John Goodman's adorable dialogue.
Fun fact: This monologue was written by John Mulaney
that wasn't fun

@wahid t thanks bae
Omg!! That must've been a dream come true for him! Yay
Oh yeah I remember him mentioning it on some talk show!
Larry's face as he answers Jerry's question about the party. NO! The man can't do no wrong.
gutz1981 I love how he kept the face going when the jib shot panned out hahaha even when everyone was clapping
Double negative! So you’re saying he CAN do wrong, cuz he can’t do no wrong
english?
J C omg u know what he means!
That was the funniest moment of the while clip!!
The expression on Catherine Zeta Jones's face when Michael Douglas says he's a sexual icon is priceless.
Hannah Nelsen I had trouble believing it was actually her at first.
Her face says it all, she's with him for financial reasons and he's not that great in bed...
Docter Zaius well she is bipolar, half the time she’s Zeta and half the time she’s Jones.
He did her from the back later that night

He had a heart attack too.
Underrated is the most overrated word on the internet.
Watch his movie Nobody. 💯
He isn't underrated. Not after Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. It's just that Mr. Show (His best work) is criminally underrated.

its crazy how many celebrities they got to show up just to sit in the audience
I spotted Steven Spielberg and George Lucas sitting behind John Goodman.
Jack Nicholson, Tom Hanks
Jodie Foster
Jeff Goldblum
Michael Yes, Jack was there. He was onstage introducing the political humor montage.
Larry's little "No why would I go to the party" was the best bit in the entire 3.5 hr special. So funny.
Larry will show up on a different day and act like it was all a disappointing misunderstanding.
A room full of huge A listers and we're all here to see Larry David say "no" 6:42
I mean John Goodman is just as awesome as Larry
I don't get the joke, is he notorious for not going to parties?

Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld are couple goals.
I love how much excitement interacting with Larry David gives Jerry, he lights up like Rudolph the Reindeer on Christmas Eve.
Seinfeld is a prick tho
Larry David with the "No" and the face of utter disgust is the funniest shit
Lol 1:16
M. Douglas: "You know, I'm a sexual icon."
Catherine Zeta-Jones: "Wait what?"
lmao
She balked at the boldness of the statement, not the truth of it.
@@isaacmccracken5870 I think everyone realises that.
Catherine Zeta Jones??? It's more like Botox Zeta Jones!!!
Joseph Smith Nah shes fucking gorgeous mate
the delivery from Larry David on that "why would I go to the party" line was just perfect!! It's a shame that the crowd didn't get to fully listen
Lorne just chilling in the audience, watching the show he created....what a stud.
6:44 "Larry, are you going to the party?"
"NO! WHY WOULD I GO TO THE PARTY!" lmfao 🤣
Sarah Palin doesn't even take Sarah Palin serious anymore
She has a sense of humor. Borrow some from her ;)
***** You seem judgmental. That isn't respectable. You can comment on a person's statements but until you MEET them, you cannot judge them. Actually, a mature person doesnt judge period. We are all the same. Going through life, learning to survive. She's CLEARLY a strong person. that is respectable
JUJU Actually, you CAN judge a public/political figure without meeting them. You know their actions, their policies, and their public statements. If those reflect poorly on that person, then you have every right to criticize them. In fact, you SHOULD criticize them. These are the people deciding how your government runs. They should be called out for their incompetence. Palin messed up quite a bit when she ran for VP, and displayed a staggering level of ignorance over simple political concepts. She insulted and lied about other people, programs, and policies in order to spread fear (death panels, Obama's birth certificate, etc). It was ridiculous. A truly moral person doesn't do this (if you notice, McCain never joined in her rants or absurd accusations, because he didn't agree). She's not the kind of person who deserves respect, and the fact that she came so close to sitting in the White House (a heartbeat away from the Presidency) is a truly frightening thought.
So true.
jcavonpark And for every negative factor that you list for Palin you can make an equally long list of negative factors for the person who IS sitting in the White House. And doesn't this apply to ALL politicians? Or does it only apply to the politicians that YOU don't agree with?
And, just for the record, I am not a Palin fan. In fact, I have always thought of her as the new Dan Quayle. Let her go ahead and run. She will never get into the White House. Her biggest mistake was quitting her job as Governor of Alaska.
It sucks they kept showing Adam Sandler and he didn't get a part. Neither did Paul Rudd.
He did get a part. He did the that's when you break w/ Andy Samberg
He also appeared in the musical montage as Operaman.
And Jeff Goldblum!
Good. He's not worthy.
And Edward norton
This is one of the best clips just for the fun of seeing who is in the background of the audience. I was waiting for Adam Sandler to just jump up and yell one of his outbursts. Watching the nonspeaking celebrities reactions is priceless, especially Catherine Zeta-Jones' expression when her husband was talking
"No, James, you don't have to worry because your personal e-mails never became public."
Well, this joke aged like milk.
Why?
@@vandyjoe621 Because James Franco went on to have inappropriate communications between himself and teenage girls leaked and sexual abuse lawsuits were taken to court over his behaviour.
I've watched Curb, and Larry was definitely the brain behind Seinfeld.
And I've also watched Jerry Seinfeld's stand-up; both of them were the brains behind the show. (And Larry Charles, Alec Berg, Tom Cherones, Andy Ackerman, and others also contributed significantly.)
He was one of them. You must not have watched a lot of Seinfeld it’s all in left field. It takes a lot of f*****d up minds to do that show
Fuji true but Larry was the ultimate orchestrator when he left the show was noticeably different its well known
Yes the show actually became good after Larry David left, but unfortunately he came back for the last episode and that sucked
Caesar Vespasian dont you dare speak of Larry that way. It’s clear he is definitely the funniest guy in the room no matter where he goes. Dudes just funny without trying
Donald Trump as a running mate...well it was funny back then.
Aruka Lowell lol!
Was just about to say... XD dear lord
loool
Still is
Aruka Lowell u lucky Americans
Leslie Jones face when Sarah palin stood up always has me dying laughing
4:46 Even when he's way in the back and out of focus, Jeff Goldblum's face steals the show.
Franco seems to know his bit isn't gonna work.
actually, he can't act...
if you've seen the disaster artist you know that's not true
saltyninja Franco hijacked a cult comedy and made it Hollywood :(
The disaster artist was dumb. The source material wrote itself, the only other selling point was his impersonation, which was just ok but didn't carry the movie like he probably hoped. Franco is a decent actor, but the disaster artist is a terrible example.
It did work though. The whole point was to say something stupid instead of a question and it worked. It was funny and was meant for Jerry to ignore him as a crazy person
"Larry, are you going to the party?"
"No! ...why would I go to the party?"
Larry's face 😂
lmao Catherine Zeta Jones face when Michael Douglas calls himself a sexual icon
Well they are married

Can we talk about Edward Norton and being an actor 24/7. He seems so intent on wanting to be a part of the script for this one 0:56
I love him so much for that
I swear to god...Larry David is the funniest person who has ever lived!!

Ibn Musa exactly what I was going to say.
He's great, but he's hot nothing on British comedians like Eddie Izzard and John Cleese.
I came back and sat through this whole clip just to hear that Larry David ‘NO’ at the end
The number of famous people in this audience is unreal, so much talent in the background who dont even speak
That was FUNNY:-) Just wished it was longer. Great dialogue. It was also fun seeing who was in the audience.
Yeah, I found I wasn't paying attention to the speakers, just looking around and going " hey that's Tom Arnold!"
pettypettywoodchuck2 i saw Spielberg
I know, that was fun just looking into the audience and going, "Hey, Adam Sandler is sitting next to Larry David. Oh there's Steven Spielberg! Oh, Lorne is right there during the John Goodman funniness."
Charlie Day was there too
arf15beagle George Lucas was blocked by John Goodman's head
You know you've not made it yet, when your introduction includes the last movie you appeared in...Dakota Johnson, from 50 Shades of Grey.
Was thinking the same for 3 sec before realizing it had to be said for the 'You are being told what to do' joke!!
I'm here to say: John Mulaney, you're a fucking genius. Jerry, you're a legend.
Larry and Jerry are like the two best friends in high school who are exactly the same person
Holy shit both George Lucas and Steven Spielberg were there!

Michael Caine, Jeff Goldblum, and Tom Arnold was there too.
Yes! Those CGI s are getting more and more realistic.
Whenever Larry David says “let me ask you something” you know it’s gonna be something good
Edward Norton looking all cute in the background tho. 😍
I was thinking Norton was looking like he was a consummate actor.
And old
He was looking like he was thinking "He's right you know?" when douglas was talking about how Charles Barkley couldn't even act.
Paul Rudd though 👌
RIGHT like he's so adorable
Larry saying “NO” to the party was instant vintage!
"the media landscape such as it is" - I love Larry David
i wish it went on longer, i love watching stuff like this
Ellen Cleghorne was a big cast member in the highest peak of any alumni era on SNL...I remember her especially from the Natalie Cole sketch singing Unforgivable Music album. Love her.
Queen Shaniqua!!
Larry David’s “Lemme ask you something” was the best part. Just that alone had me laughing so much. Everything else was pretty much a “I can never get this time back” type of deal.
I love Larry "No, why would I be going to the party?"
"See you at the party... Larry you going to the party?
No...why would I go to the party?"

"It's like we had two last tickets to Disney Land before it burned down!" - Jerry Seinfeld
I think they should put Tim Meadows on Saturday Night Live again . He really has an entertaining personality .
It's weird when the audience is more famous than the celebs with speaking parts.
I’ve watched this a dozen times at this point and every time I watch Ellen Cleghorne do her bit I absolutely lose my mind. She is hilarious.
OH MY GOD I SAW JEFF GOLDBLUM THERE WHY WASN'T HE IN ANYTHING
Because nobody remembers Jurassic Park

Oh my god! Jeff Goldblum @ 4:42 !! Sitting next to Tom Arnold. I swear the best part was just seeing all the famous people sitting in the audience just being viewers and enjoying the show. I loved watching Vanessa Bayer laugh so genuinely at Larry's and Jerry's exchange.
It's cute that they both noticed themselves on the screen.
0:56 in this still alone you can see, that I recognize, Michael Douglas, Kerry Washington, Kate McKinnon, Ed Norton, Larry David & Adam Sandler.
I was dying for Jeff Goldblum to ask a question just so I could hear his strangely sensual reptilian groans, whispers, and “mmm’s.”
Larry David’s line at the end is the best part. He is almost offended that Jerry asks if he’s going to the party.
6:35 Sarah Palin jokes about entering the presidential race and picking Donald Trump as her running-mate. Little did the world know that Trump would end up being the Republican leader. I'm scared to revisit this comment in a year..
+Norwegian Chill We'll see...
+Norwegian Chill
Don't worry, if the internet is still up a year from now, Trump didn't win. If he did you will be too busy fighting off post-nuclear war zombies to worry about old SNL skits
For now Sarah is part of what you would call the Trump main Support/...group,the full deja vu would be if she becomes VP/running-mate....
hey bud
Hello
That was the most Tim Meadows delivery ever.
Norm Macdonald, Robert Smigel and Rick Ludwin in the opening shot. Comedy legends
John Goodman's was hilarious. And the exchange between Jerry and Larry.
6:43 NO.
"I'm gonna cry, a little bit..." I feel you, Goodman
“No! ...why would I be going to the party?” Ahahahaha LD crushed it there
Larry steals it all at the end. Such a simple response that from anyone else wouldn’t be funny, but when Larry David says it it’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all day.
"it's like a hotel where you get to play pretend"
I’d like to remind everyone that this was 4 months before Trump announced he was running. When we thought Sarah Palin was the craziest the Republicans could give us.
Sarah Palin looks GREAT right about now
I'd like to remind everyone that Bernie would have won but the Democratic leaders thought Hillary was a good idea. They also thought Kamala Harris was a good idea too.
@@Paulafan5 Bernie would've won, but the democratic leaders got in the way? What about the primary elections? He didn't win New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, Massachusetts, Texas, or even California like he did in 2020. The truth is, Bernie just isn't that popular, and 2020 proved that. I say this as someone who supported Bernie in 2016.
Gah. This skit didn’t age well. 😂
The Republicans didn't give us Donald Trump. He bulldozed his way to the nomination, and they had to accept the voter's choice. Maybe if the Republicans could have tipped the scale like the DNC did for Hillary, then it could have been Cruz or Bush, etc.
Larry’s response to the party always cracks me up
The reason John Goodman hosted 13 times is the same reason why his cameo here was the best of the non-snl cast members.
Also, Randy Quaid? I haven't seen him in anything since Independence Day: The documentary about what it looks like to be in the mind of Randy Quaid.
If only SNL could produce more monologues like this one. They brought in some of the greats in Hollywood and SNL.
Love that Ellen Cleghorne and Tim Meadows got shout outs! Two of the best!
The fact that they didn't cut to Larry right when he says "No!" so that I could create, arguably the greatest reaction GIF, kills me.
