Archive was months ago, and was really, really good. Best science fiction movie to come along in years. Too bad they screwed up the ending a bit, but prior to the ending, it was really good.

Most of these movies look like a walk through 2 hours of misery, despair, savagry and tragedy. Can't anyone make a Scifi movie about wonder, mystery, discovery, adventure, and positive first contact? I'll pass on all of these except Dune.

We need more hope but our handlers prefer to push doom and gloom on us. Of course hope is hidden in most of the dystopian stories but you have to go through hell to get there. Similar to real life. Right now we rushing toward hell with mandatory vaxx, mass shooters suddenly popping up with Biden (supposedly) in office in order to try and ban guns. Once our guns are gone, so are we.
The White House lights are on a timer and turn off at 11pm every night. Watch the livestream. We are literally in a movie now and most people have no clue. They just watch tv news and carry on like they always did. Once you get curious and look around you will discover some crazy things. Underground bases, human harvesting, globalists, morgellons, nanotech. The Supreme Court is corrupt, Congress is corrupt, the whole thing. That is what Trump exposed. Trump was put in to stop Hillary and the satanic cabal. They are controlled by reptilians that have underground bases all over the world. They are being taken out. Proof of that can be seen on an earthguake detection website that shows the locations, depths and size of the explosion/earthquake. The signature is that of an explosion and the depth is usually 10km. Normal earthquakes have a rumble before the big boom. Explosions have an extreme change in the seismic graph if that makes sense.

It's only 3/12, and I already have Tenet, Bloodshot, and The New Mutants on Blu-Ray. I have also seen Bill & Ted Face the Music in the stores. The rest looked great... until Sky Sharks, which just looked stupid. Of course, I thought the same thing about Snakes on a Plane, witch turned out to be fairly good.
Bill and Ted was the only optimistic Sci-Fi movie on this list. The human race is definitely in a dark place...

Oh God was that a bad movie.
They´re recovering from the Dark Age which lasted between 2013 and 2018.
That is because it is way easier to make a good dark movie than a good optimistic one. Violence, grief, fear, this stuff generates emotions and tension. A slice of life show has a harder time generating tension. And tension is important for an engaging story / a good movie.

UNDERWATER, that movie was pretty nice, it feels like the people who work on it was with old Alien movie in mind, would watch it again!
Archive was great. Theo James was magnificent in the film. Can't wait for the new Dune, but I'm still a fan of the original with Kyle Maclachlan.

Palm Springs = Groundhog Day 2. It won't be the same without Bill Murray. But it definitely does answer some theories surrounding the original movie. Like whether or not the edge of town was the trigger for the loop (it wasn't) or it was falling asleep (it was).

By the time this video was uploaded, most of the movies in it have been already released or even old.
The first film Archive reminds me a bit of what we might get from Film 4. Especially with those red backgrounds for the headings. Although they already did Ex Machina so I guess they’re not eager to go and copy something too similar to their previous works again so it’s probably just a mix of different studios for this one. Looks really good though.
If this video were to show in cinema, it would top the box office.

Hardly any of these films count as actual SF. Most would be better described as Fantasy or Horror (and pretty formulaic examples of those genres, for that matter). Sad that the big production companies are too timid to take a chance on real SF.

You don't really know what SF is, do you@@ranwolf7650? Marvel films don't count, they're juvenile fantasy, no matter how many "sciency" gizmos they feature. Tenet is slightly nearer to SF than Bloodshot is, but both are really action-thriller films. Ghostbusters and Bill & Ted are comedies. Godzilla vs Kong and Monster Hunter are creature-features. Palm Springs is basically a rip-off of Groundhog Day, and both those films are fantasy, not SF. Vivarium, Antebellum, and Color out of Space are all horror.

@@mattr8807 And the title says new movies not new trailers. I consider new movies as the one that came out in past 12 months (1 year) and many ppl even have 2 years in mind. Welp if we think about movies from 1990s and 2000s it truly should be considered new-ish when it came in 1-2 last years. 😂
They can really get on your nerves sometimes, but usually the trailers are still pretty good reminders.
"Underwater" seems like a movie idea already seen at least a thousand times. But damn... I liked the "Red Dragon" D&D Homage on Monster Hunter. :-)
