Archive is one of those ab solute must sees hidden away and burried and underrated. The ending is unpredictable and it was some of the best ive ever seen because of this. Dont look at spoilers for this movie at all for the best effect.

I like to watch these film trailer compilations, so that I don't need to watch the full films. Three minutes are all that are needed for these concepts.

Aaaaah..gone are those days when science fiction...was about Science....fiction... Not CGI
A lot of times you need CGI to get the image you need, you couldn't do movies like Arrival otherwise but I miss the thoughtful ones like the one I watched yesterday : Kubrick's A.I. All those lame 'action' ones that are just about shooting up the monstrous alien are so boring and predictable. I hope Dune and/or Foundation will save 2021. (Denis Villeneuve is so good with setting the mood)

Because that's the way almost every comic book franchise is being treated now. I guess when they heard that so many bad parents were taking their kids to see Venom, they should water it down. (I'm being a bit tongue in cheek)

Notice most alien movies are about going to war with them. Most stories of encounters are not near as nefarious. Movies about alien war sell better and condition us to fear. If they are preparing us for anything, it's for control.

Ok, so 2067 has blown up the plot twist that the protagonist can't save his time, that every other character is already dead and that he is actually there to try saving the future and restarting humanity in the trailer, huh? I would call it a bold move, if it wasn't so dumb.

Damn...I thought The Superdeep was going to be that Short film by Oats Studios called Zygote. Even the noise sounded like it. Go take a look.
I liked several of those Oats Studios tryout short films so I agree with Adam V. that they're worth checking out. I'm sure there are many websites where you can see them but I got them for free on Steam and watched them with great interest. I remember at least two that I would love to have seen become a full-fledged series or at least a full-length movie but after all this time it seems that won't happen :-(

Come on, some of these definitely aren't Science fiction. Superdeep, Morbius, Sputnik and Underwater are horror, Monster Hunter might be fantasy and Palm Springs looks like a comedy. No idea where to place Ascendant, but it's not Scifi. Space Jam? Suicide Squad?? And how did Black Widow end up in this list???

Sadly, they never took up were the original left off. Left two great characters left to float in oblivion, like most crappy franchises do. Why not tell the story of Jarrod and Elaine. We know Jarrod's body was destroyed, but his brain was placed within one of the alien creatures. He took control of the aliens stronger and more powerful body and stood over Elaine to protect her and their unborn child. That's when the movie ended. There is still a story to tell.
