    Mike Phillips, are you mad...? The Welsh fella landed the cheap shot, Kearney was right to react like that.

    I wouldn't complain if I didn't have to see Mike Phillips and Liam Williams play international rugby ever again.

    Fairplay Paddy Jackson, scored a nice try followed by a dirty trampy tackle. Took it on the chin though and walked away like a real man would, proud. Hail the Irish.

    Williams needs a kick up his back side from Gatland for that dirty play.
    Thd irony of this carry on, given the cheap snide comments from Gatland is quite entertaining.

    When England got thrashed by Wales they didn't degrade like the Welsh did in this game and try to start fights all the time. Arrogant lot the Welsh.

    • @ragerancher
      @ragerancher Před 10 lety +7

      Oh right, because Phillips had been a right ray of sunshine prior to that hadn't he? Also dropping an elbow onto a players face (blatantly intentionally) isn't a legitimate reason to react? So let me see, a WELSH player intentionally drops and elbow into an Irish players face completely unprovoked, just as a cheap shot. An Irish player then comes over and shoves the Welsh player, that's it. Phillips then comes charging in and turns the entire thing into a brawl and at no point is a Welshman to blame? As I said, arrogant tosspots.

      *****
      Er what, you basically just said heads I win, tails you lose. Either Kerney was out of line and thus Phillips was right to react or Phillips wasn't out of line and thus right to react... No Phillips WAS out of line because he decided to start a full on brawl from Kearney simply giving a Welsh player one shove after he had dropped his elbow on purpose into the face of an Irish try scorer. He was showing attitude problems earlier in the game too.

      ROBBIE WILLIAMS
      Kearney pushed him. This is rugby. A push in rugby is NEVER an 'over reaction'. Rugby players push people before lineouts, when players are on the wrong side of the ball etc. Pushes happen ALL the time. Over reaction for a no arm shoulder into his mate's face after scoring a try? Aye mate wake up

      ROBBIE WILLIAMS stepped in for his team-mate eh ? Tw*t

      Just because Mike Phillips did on this occasion doesn't mean you can categorise 'The Welsh' as being an 'arrogant lot'. What a ignorant comment.

    I'm an Australian, so forgive me for not being too knowledgeable about NH rugby.
    But it seems to me that Gatland's game plan isn't so effective when a few players are injured. Maybe he just isn't blooding enough new players and building depth

    • @GoldenbanjoDJ
      @GoldenbanjoDJ Před 10 lety

      I think Ireland would have destroyed Wales in this game regardless of Gatland having his first team playing all the way through.

    • @darrenmurray1278
      @darrenmurray1278 Před 10 lety

      GoldenbanjoDJ True that. Ireland were without Bowe, OBrien, Fitzgerald and Zebo.

    • @GoldenbanjoDJ
      @GoldenbanjoDJ Před 10 lety

      Exactly. Though I thought our wingers had good games, we lost a lot of attacking threat. And Henry had a good game, but O'Brien would get into any team in the World (NZ included) somewhere in the back row

    Also halfpenny at No.10 and get Lee Burns back at 15......oh and someone get Henson into boot camp and sort him out.

    guys you need to chill out everyone saying fuck wales because of one nasty hit, it was an accident, those things can happen he tried to apologise got pushed Phillips over reacts and it made it look worse than it was . I'm sure if and Irish player had a bad hit on a welsh man it wouldn't make you feel good to see "OH FUCK IRELAND" everywhere now does it? That doesn't excuse his hit though but he is fairly new and doesn't deserve this much hate for it.

  • @mikeyswb
    @mikeyswb Před 10 lety +3

    I don't think Liam Williams' tackle was a cheap shot just momentum and bad execution, he put his hand up to say sorry straight away but Kearney understandably pushed him, no excuses for Phillips though, made the team look bad after that.

  • @SuperKotaa
    @SuperKotaa Před 10 lety +1

    The entire welsh coaching staff need to be sacked along with Priestland. Gatland and his mob just sit there staring at computers analysing bullshit! We still don't get basics right, like passing before going down and fucking bullshit line outs (just pass to the front instead of all this musical chairs nonsense). Halfpenny for captain and Shane Williams for coach! Then we might have a chance in the World Cup.

    • @MrDirtytricksss
      @MrDirtytricksss Před 10 lety

      I think Gatland is just there for the money now ....he don't give a shit!! ....when other teams bring fresh players on he don't .....what's he playing at ? at 60 mins he should have got hook and the other players on maybe they would have made a difference ..didn't he follow the game ? we were getting smashed by ireland and he did nothing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gatland does not live up to the hype as one of the best in the world ..if he was in charge last year we would have not won the six nations...

  • @randomperson9257

    The way he didn't get involved in the fight he seems very not violent. ... so yeah I think the decision that he's not guilty was right , not only for this reason yeah
