If his consent is invalid because he knew her prior to turning 18, how is ANY decision someone whose freshly a legal adult makes valid? If I go to a voting booth on my 18th birthday, 99% of my vote is going to be based on ideas, experiences, and influences I had a minor. Does that mean my vote is invalid because it was "groomed"? Should freshly legal adults only make decisions as blank slates? That makes no sense because the only reason we trust their judgement is because they aren't blank slates.
