We previously filmed with TikTokers Cheryl, 61, and Quran, 24, from Rome, Georgia, back in 2021 when their huge age gap made headlines worldwide. Since then a lot has happened - in July 2021 Quran proposed, using a ring crowdfunded by his TikTok fans. The couple officially tied the knot in September of the same year in a romantic, riverside ceremony in Tennessee - which they livestreamed to an audience of over 20,000. The online judgment about their age gap is intense, but Quran and his new wife are determined not to let it overshadow their relationship. The pair are now eager to take the next step and begin a family, either by adopting or using a surrogate - and Cheryl’s grandchildren already call Quran “papaw”. In this episode we hear from the happy couple about married life, see them going out to browse baby clothes and hear from Cheryl’s adult daughter Ashlee about how she feels about the prospect of a baby brother.

Having a child at an advanced age will lead to the child losing a parent at a young age. Even if they have their family and their other parent, it's inevitably going to affect the child and the surviving spouse. Even if the parent lives to see the kid graduate high school and even college, the loss of a parent in young adulthood is a rough thing to put your kid through. That's not even mentioning the inevitable decline of the older parent's health over time. Seeing a person lose their independence and ableness at a young age is pretty terrifying, especially when it's your parent. I can speak from personal experience on this; it's s heartbreaking to see a parent nearing the end of their life while you're barely an adult yourself. This is their choice to make, but I can't help but think that they are ignoring issues this will cause for the child down the road. A lot of people decide that they want a child, but not all of them truly consider if they should. Is this more for you or the potential child?
Edit: Yes, illness and death aren't limited to the old, you can lose a parent at anytime. But most people don't have kids knowing that they probably won't live to see their kid turn 25. When you're in your eighties when your kid finishes college... do the math.

Statistically the younger partner tends to stray especially if they met at age 15.. which is another story in itself. I’ve been reading a lot of these comments and most of it is comical relief for the situation added with a bit of disgust and many other mixed emotions. I don’t really care to share my opinion since I myself is dating an older woman. I think it just pretty much comes down to looking at the world and how messed up it is. Realizing you only have one life. Happiness doesn’t come to some ever so appreciate what Little happiness you’ve got. Mostly though, realizing that you don’t live for opinions you don’t live for other people you live for only you and whoever you decide to let into your circle that represents you. Everyone can say they have loved the wrong person at least once in their lives. But there is a vice versa to that statement. Maybe he found his love early in his life and hers later but the connection can’t be denied either way. Goes to show that love and life always find a way to exist even when it seems it shouldn’t.

DONT HAVE A BABY… So selfish for the child to lose their Mum so early. And for the child to lose out on the active years.
What does so early mean? If she dies at 90 (which is a pretty normal age these days, and even higher), the child will be an adult around 30.
Also active years meaning the ones that she was to go to work every day and come back tired? (she herself said she will have much more time than she used to have for her children before). If she decides she is able to have a child (adopting it/whatever), she can, no reason for you to judge them.
No one’s life is promised people die young all the time
