Is SWIFT Really Lighter, Faster + Stronger?
Thanks for the spec comparison. I'm really looking forward to how they compare on the court.
I've been playing exclusively with the original for around 5+ months. At first, it felt sorta heavy and head heavy for a few weeks. After that initial period of adjustment, I really haven't noticed the relatively heavier weight nor head heavy balance . It just feels right. Very solid and forgiving with very good spin and power. I also have no problem with maneuverability.
All that said, I'm very curious about the SWIFT version and am greatly looking forward to your comparison. A lighter version with the same playing characteristics would be great.
Give us an update on how it plays! I love the idea of the lighter paddle that you can weight a bit more here and there to tweak the feel, and curious as to how long the grit holds up.
What is the green thing you are using to balance the paddle on?
Good question. Its a trigger point tool designed to help with muscle tightness and knots repurposed as a fulcrum. Its perfect because it has a rubbery texture that grips the paddle so it balances more effectively 👍
4.5 player, I've played the swift for about a week, still torn between the Gruvn raw 16e which I love, with a bit more forgiveness. I recently came from gearbox which are head light and could definitely spin more on rolls. Still getting used to the swift but overall a great paddle.
Have not found found an elongated paddle that beats the Gruvn RAW E for speed, spin combination with a forgiving sweet spot.
@@godgunsandgoldens I agree Jim, heck of a paddle!!
