you definitely feel the fish bite at the same time whether ur using a glass rod or not. the difference is in the rod action, a glass rod naturally has a softer action and wont rip those hooks out of a fish

This helps inform me on the difference between the two, I been fishing these last two yrs with Googan go to rod & just this summer I've been focusing on using the jackhammer and for me I noticed that I have just been reeling into them once they bitten the bait and once I feel them fighting I tend to set the hook and I haven't had any issues with them getting off or blowing there mouth open.. this is just what I noticed ,seeing that I now am looking into glass rods. Thank you for this video..

If you crank a lot, you’ll love having a glass rod dedicated for it. 👊

Medium heavy vs medium. Which one was the carbon rod? But is there is there any tips to help with to get either a medium heavy or medium?

Will I be able to feel brush or branches with the glass rod? Not fishing over grass only submerged timber around rock edges
