RAC Rally Highlights/Pure Sound - Scrutineering (Carmarthen Showground) 22/11/23

The calm before the storm. This was a great chance to get a look at all of the cars entered for the 20th anniversary of the modern take on the RAC Rally, a gruelling test for cars that tackled stages, conditions and punishing mileage like this many decades prior. Some cars, even suffering mechanical drama the second they were fired up! Big names from Oliver Solberg, Kris Meeke and Chris Ingram can be seen before taking on national and RAC regulars like Marty McCormack, Osian Pryce and the incredible Lancia Stratos of Seb Perez. Look a little harder and you'll spot Phil Short, Phil Mills, Nicky Grist, Peter Solberg and Tony Jardine. Enjoy for now something a little different in these spectacular machines at a more sedate pace.
