    For the price you paid for this item I would definitely send it back to Hermes for a replacement towel as the various snags on this towel is unacceptable.

    Oh wow!! Maybe in the US they use these kind of 'cheap' boxes. I have ordered quite a few times online (EU/ASIA, small/big items) but I NEVER came across a such a strange box......in regards to the towel: I would definitely send it back!!

    Thanks for your sharing. I got a cracked orange box for Hermes. Actually, you can contact to them to give you a new one but not exactly the same box. Cus every product was shipped from Paris with a box. Or you can ship the original box to them then they can send another one to you. Compared to the LV packaging, Hermes is very tedious and low quality. From LV, I got perfumes and a book.

    First of all, love the towel!! Awesome purchase, but so sorry it arrived like that, quality control should have spotted that easily! And lol the comment hubby made made me giggle! But we like what we like! I hope the replacement is perfect! 🤎🤎

    Can’t believe they sent out a product that is clearly defective! The color is beautiful though. I just got a dress from the boutique and it came in the same collapsible box you received. And in the past, small baby items also came in the same box.

    So I am glad I watched this as I bought a navy blue wash cloth and had towel online. The wash cloth was fine but the hand towel had a brown stain on it (will be returning and either buying something else of asking for a full refund)😳

    Yikes. Hopefully it is an isolated incident. For the price we pay for a product, it should be perfect. As for the orange box, I have ordered online in 3 occasions-a bag, a belt and a pairing of earrings but they all came in proper hard orange boxes.

    Do you know if when ordering online they always hide the orange box inside another inconspicuous box? I wouldn’t want them to ship me just the orange box, it would get stolen where i live.

      Oh yes, the outside packging is ever low-key, as all online order arrives in a generic white box and signature required when they deliver.

    WOW- Send it back quickly, that is totally unacceptable! $200 for a cotton towel and it has many noticeable flaws, someone is asleep at Hermes to let that happen, for shame! TFS!

    who justifies buying a used overpriced towel by saying it's made out of 100% cotton. Cotton is dirt cheap (unfortunately) and all towels are made from cotton
