This is a compilation of the fights scenes in "Blackbelt" a movie with Don (The Dragon) Wilson. Look and see what you are missing in this wonderful movie.
What I notice about these movies back in days is that they had a lot of advertising for different martial arts products... And bad acting and some good martial arts fights
Imagine if Ian Jacklin was put in place of Don Wilson's role of Jack Dillon. This would make Blackbelt the first movie where Ian would take on Matthias Hues!
Grew in the 90s watching these on HBO Thursday night prime. And I hated dons movie's! Good fighter in real life but I like Richard Norton, Billy blanks .van damme,Matthias hue's as the bad guy all the time.
Agreed. Probably why Don's film career never took off. Not sure who did the choreography. Though, I'm sure he had a part in that. The moves had no fluidity. Looked more like footage of practice for the film stunts. :) The pauses between moves were too long. But I think Don Wilson was at one time a kickboxing champion in the US. Again a short lived career there too. Then he got his commentary job. The fight scene choreography was this bad in Transporter too with Jason Statham. Not sure why filming these fight scenes they aren't noticing the pacing is too slow.
Don Wilson was a kickboxing champion and it wasn't short lived career as you think it was, sure his movies mostly suck except one and that was Red Sun Rising with martial artist James Lew
thats why van damme films took off cuz his moves were the best and meant 2 films. though van damme didnt succeed in real sport as wilson did . So if you made it big in real kickboxing doesnt mean you will be a success in movies. Two different things
4:21 Good kicks
Can't believe I used like this shit!!!!! 😂😂😂
Bad acting, bad fighting, bad kicking...Bad B Movie !!😂😂😂
That’s how I like’em 😂🤝
Great movie
Don the dragon Wilson is the man

Oh yeah! Century was big then. They had Ninja outfits and all sorts of fun stuff. I used to stare at the catalog all day as a kid. LOL!

I can do all those moves but without the oohs and aahs...

@@mikeynoelleon Have you ever watched any of Jeff Wincott's movies?
@@sacredf8 yes martial law 2, martial outlaw, Mission of Justice, are his best a lot of combos, in those films.

Só sei de um filme que Mathias Hues é mocinho, acho que é um de 97 .
Now I know why some Martial Arts movies & Martial Artists are better than others. Its the fight choreography. This one for eg is crappy..
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝
Muy malas esas coreografias, son muy telegrafiadas y mecanicas.

Some of the absolute worst choreography I've ever seen!

@@AGC828 Well it's a B movie. Other action stars had famous directors, producers, companies, and many other people working around the movie.
