With a score of 15,900, Arthur Zanetti won Brazil's first Olympic Gymnastics medal as he became Olympic champion in the Men's Rings competition at London 2012.
Can he repeat the feat at his home Olympic Games?

My shoulder dislocated just watching this
:D:D
Same
😂😂🤣
I also feel same. Since I have recurrent dislocation problem
mee too
Any of you SW athletes watching this together with me? I guess 90% of people can't imagine how hard is actually this
we are, and its incredible to see some SW athlete accomplishing most of gymnast elements on still rings, it takes years and years of dedication but it's reachable
I have rings and always dying doing routine and reps on it.
X2
yessir
His wrists are thicker than my biceps...
The first olympic medal of Brazil in gymnastics. Zanetti, you were giant!
Anyone who thinks this is easier than it looks. I’ve tried rings before. TRY just a 5 second false grip hang. Or 3 dips
@Legend 27 i can do 15 dips but on rings 0.
Anyone who thins this is easier than it looks has never attempted to do a pull up lol
Just a support hold
Guys who are already strong and in shape are perplexed at how difficult it is to just hold the top of a simple pushup position with the rings only inches from the floor.
I could do 10 ring dips, and it's hard asf, it hurts my chest alot and since you can't rest at the top because you need to maintain stability, it just adds more challenge

This guy must have incredible strength. Amazing!!!
Wow!!
is there a way for someone doing what he does to not have "incredible strength" ? 😆
He did it again today. Silver medal.
That the most casual iron cross I’ve seen

I Never get tired to watch this. ❤
He always get tired and didn't even watch this!
What does a 10.0 difficult exercise look like?
2min Victorian Cross hold
@@maxcalix9195 Is that even possible?
@@ivoryrick7734 no
@@ivoryrick7734 probably one day, but actually no.
@@maxcalix9195 You can calculate difficulty by adding the difficulty of all the elements performed by the athlete. You can find the difficulty of each exercise in a document called "code of points" from page 81 to 96
Victorian gives 0.5 points for a 2 sec hold so it's 40 sec of Victorian
You guys need to understand that in Brazil we have 0 investment in sport , for him to make it its 1000 harder than for someone from the US! That’s why even a bronze medal means a lot to us because our atheists need to work 1000 harder and most of times without any sponsorship
Esses ateístas
oh you poor people i guess you dont realize that being from a rich country doesnt mean that you will succeed automatically, sure us invests a lot in sports, but they also have a lot more athletes to support, so except the absolute top ones, the others dont get much help and what is it even that you are reffering to that people from us get so much from? Coaches or what? Equipment for training maybe, but even then same exercise can always be done in many different ways without too much equipment, i can guarantee you that your athletes dont work 1000 times harder, at most they might need to put more time into achieving the same results when training, it doesnt mean that they work 1000 times harder than from other countries
Brazil do not need equipment, lack of internet and lack of stupid stuff makes Males stronger than other broken countries lol :D
Ever heard of india.....where people spend more for temples then investing in sports
@@timonbubnic322 I guess that if you had never been in a 3rd word country that would be your thought - that’s not the reality at all! The reality is; broken and missing equipments , not space for training , the athletes wouldn’t even have the money to get the bus to attend the training… if you think that the only difference is the incentive and sponsors - you’re terrible mistaken !

It's been 10 months now, how's your planche progression going?
I realized that the exercise was way too hod for a beginner like me So I focus more on my core strength I am doing L sits low.. then after a while I will do chin up L sits.. and muscle up.. when I have mastered the basics I will try the planche once more 🥇🤸🏿♂️
did u got it?
@@harmonie333 how is it going now?
@@harmonie333 did you get the planche?
He's ranked 9th in the world on that particular event.
He's doing it so clean, and here is me struggling getting a frontlever for 9 months now :/
meanwhile I still struggling to do an elbow lever 😭
@@suketgajah8107 elbow lever is very easy, surely you could reach it in under 2 months
yes but he is training his whole life for this

Yes, he will
Wow! Cannot believe it.
Zanetti o melhor
desculpe ter que admitir isso , mas o Gelder eh melhor 😢
Zanetti é uma lenda
Amazing!!!
If you have ever fucked around with rings, you know how difficult this is. Even the typical support hold is challenging... Been on the rings for about a month now. Can do dips, push up, pull ups, etc - but boy, is it ever difficult... Very humbling each session haha
Bro he is been doing this for 20 years...I think it’s logical that have that level of strength and ability after so many years of training
@@minasmigkosgymnastics8742 that's what's so amazing about them. That amount of dedication for years is admirable.
True, I borght rings yesterday for me and my daughters.
Playing around with these, makes me realize how hard his exercises really are.
This guy looks like a non-wimpy Ben Shapiro

I don't understand. China seemed to have a better performance 🤔🤔
@Isabela Fernandes XD?
Isabela Fernandes - I don't think he's "rooting for communist countries", he's just saying that he thought another athletes performance was better. Ignorant people who don't understand are those who ascribe political meaning to other people's comments or opinions where there is none, and then abuse them for it.
Hey! I believe you're asking a normal question that there's nothing to do with politics .. Sometimes, we cannot see the details of the movement , probably he has done some technique in detail better than the Chinese competitor..
@@alessandranr6607 Obviously it's just a sport question that has nothing to do with politics.
I don't know even how it is possible to see my comment as politic involved.
Thanks for the answer anyway 🤗
