Lol. D/D/D player here! I feel that. But unlike you, we have remedy to that anxiety if we managed to get Big Casear to the field. You lot do not have the same luxury.
@@joel2628as both a DDD and HERO player getting the 5th Summon Caesar (or Rage hand lock) is as easy as establishing an early DPE in HEROs then you proceed to do your typical combo. Nibiru only punishes bad hands and even worse players.
Techs like Moon/Eclipse also help with Nib without the need of Crossouts and bricks.
@@babrad most hero decks don't run evil because it disrupts the warrior archetype so DDD for me sadly is a no go with my build :(
I always just evenly matched them, sure get as much on field as you want I don't mind 😉

@ delllee4915 SE isn’t tier 0 anymore. Pure SE was barely tier 0 and that deck is completely dead now thanks to half its end board getting banned. SE variants also can’t dodge Imperm/Veiler with Linkuriboh anymore and the omnis being banned also mean that SE and SE variants have no protection against Nibiru. Nibiru ends their turn and 2 hand traps are generally enough to make them pass on a subpar board. No Linkuriboh means your Imperm/Veiler are actually going to stick. SE boards now crumble to board wipes and the Fire King version hard loses to Soul Release.
I think Melodious is tier 1.5. The amount of tops it gets despite barely being played is impressive.
Nibiru doesn’t hurt hero’s as much anymore, reasons why, the trap we search usually is our fifth summon so we ain’t completely over, reason number 2 Mali is at 3 which makes it a lot easier to push through things like that

Also our end boards ARE NASTY, we can easily play through hand traps as well, our end board consists of DARK LAW, DPE, DARK ANGEL ON THERE FIELD, FAVORITE CONTACT FOR A POP TWO, plus follow up when we use the mask change on the shadow mist on there turn
@@NinguiohTCGthis after the Verte ban is actually brutal. Especially if you can't start with a mask change play to turn it off. I have found that beat rice helps allowing you to get a D Force Plasma instead but it's very limited compared to the full board.
The deck auto loses to nib. You can set up ur entire board. And get nib then after everything. The only thing you would have left is the trap card. If your opponent is moving you before you finish ur board that’s on them
@@TreatzVtuberrNope. NIb doesn’t make Heroes auto lose. We have plenty of counter combos and plays that debunk that assumption.
Best way to deal with heros, deff Evenly Matched if it resolves wrecks their board since they try to spit as much on field as possible. How to stop Sky Strikers Skill Drain since their monsters arent very strong beating over them is easy to do. Spell omni negates are still a thing as well
Im currently tinkering with Fiend Link. Fiendsmith, mixed with yubel, mixed with a small unchained package and lemme tell you, that is FUN, the only piece im missing is the summon sorc errata so im praying we get her back next banlist. I think we might actually see the next Dragon Link once all the pieces are printed in the tcg.
there is no better feeling than beating tier zero with egyptian god cards from a master user.

Ogre is becoming relevant. We can’t beat an ogre on raiders without specific non engine.
One of rogue deck that have so many ban and limited in the past and also have cards that considered as cancer.

mikanko only really had trouble with snake eyes due to the ability to quuickdodge via linkuriboh when the little monsters got equipped (you usually kaiju the bog monsters and roll into a mikanko to make another via arabesque), so i'm thinking that they might be way stronger now if snake eyes keeps that momentum.
What’s a good rogue deck to pick up if I haven’t played since 2006? My nephew wants to start playing and I figured I’d join him! lol
One of my favorite ideas would be „unchained“. With its recent support, the deck even got to the point of banlist hits against it being justified. Yet, there is still a lot the deck can do and set up. It plays decently in alot of boards and is somewhat adaptable to your playstyle. In case you are interessted in giving the deck a try, i highly recommend watching the Pak videos Post the banlist Hits. Wish you a great experience dueling with your nephew!
Swordsouls is a fairly simple deck.
@@fritz9433 i wouldnt really reccomend it. Unchained is just one of those decks that just isn't fun to play against because it's super disruptive and basically cheats. The playstyle involves monsters using one of yours and one of your opponent's monsters monsters for link summoning. And most of the monsters in the deck have that as a quick effect. So every time your opponent puts any monster on the board you can just quick effect pop and link climb over and over again until you're sitting on a beefy 3k link 4 and who knows what else while your opponent has basically nothing. That kind of deck would likely just demoralize the kid and discourage him from playing which ultimately defeats the point. If you're looking to get someone into the game i wouldn't reccomend any kind of meta deck because they're not good teaching tools. If you're looking for decks that are good, but also fair for the most part, i'd recommend something like chimera/illusionist, the upcoming yugi cards from legacy of destruction, or Red dragon archfiend. Rda in particular should also be easy to build due to the recent structure deck giving you most of what you need.

I love my neos deck. If your opponent has no handtraps you can otk very easily
More fun than competitive, I love playing Weather Painters; their ability to banish for cost can easily get around cards such as skill drain, Nib and Dshifter
Nobody expect my Runick Umi control, it's either they don't know how umi control works, or they wasted all their hand traps on the runick part due to ptsd
I gotta say, heroes ARE really good and are teetering on the edge of true meta relevance but I prefer to duel without shining neos wingman. The cards used to summon it get in the way of more consistent stun options
The issue with that is your Plasma or Dark Angel will be Nibbed, while blowouts work more effectively compared to a chainable disruptions.
I was on a Destiny heavy build abusing Beatrice (Rapid Trigger) and D Force but the Omni HERO build not only is better against handtraps, it typically plays much better into boards.
Never forget this deck is supposed to go second, rip through boards and OTK ignoring any follow-up snakes and similar decks try to generate
@@babrad in this day and age, you can’t rely upon going second, OTK strats; you have to think of building a board your opponent has the hardest time beating. And as for nibiru, there’s nothing you can do about that until heroes get some real Omni-negation.

Whenever I face a good HERO player, they tend to attempt to leave main before setting up the most insane board possible, yet still a very good one. Something like Dark Law setup + trap card, which forces you to make the Nib call, and if you do, they just keep going and end on more or less the same thing.
After the Nib check, Plasma will typically make his appearance while Nibiru is entirely avoidable unless you are super greedy and want either a Dark angel play or an additional search.
I been slowing building HERO and bought in almost all the cards a while back. Literally just need wake up your elemental HERO and I’ll have the complete deck. Saved it for last because it was the most expensive card I didn’t have 😂
Why can't Konami just retrain the super ancient Elemental HEROes and give Fusion HEROes a playstyle that plays the exact same as Albaz Despia? Albaz Despia is what E-HEROes should've played like...

Rescue Ace cards should have been Machina support, I envy them.
Ew if you play Earth Machine, dude I can do the same thing you're doing but for and with less. Or maybe give them a monster version of Redeployment that can search spells and traps or recycle their banished spells/traps.

@@tsvetomirsheev3882 For me that's a last resort, I just wish it wasn't limited in Master Duel. I love tricking Snake-Eyes into targeting Fortress to see their hand and rip a card out.
I deliberately summon it to the Relinquished Anima zones too.
As a machina player, i get so many wins just because not many know what it does, especaily with citadell and ruinforce.
Melodious is better than Rogue IMO, it's very good into handtraps, your only real chokepoint is the link-2 or the Fire-like Pendulum but it doesn't always stop them from reaching the level 7 fusion and popping off. The board is very sticky as well and having an in-archetype game ender. It did suffer from not having great endboards into maxx-c without inting hard which held the deck back from being higher tier in the OCG, so a bit like unchained in that regard.
The only thing I could see being a problem for them is the lack of negation effects on the endboard which Unchained did have in High Wave King Caesar and having to run bricks like Elegy and Aria (One could argue that Aria's boardwide targeting protection + battle protection is enough), though you can still run a lot of non-engine in the deck (14 + 3 Pot of Prosperity).

Sky Striker has so much draw power right now, they could play Exodia.
