We've got our Subaru BRZ mainly for training purposes. Why? We see a huge advantage with BRZ - this lightweight RWD in indeed 2023 MY, but driver like a 90's car.In short, the classic concept of an engine mounted on the front axle with rear drive, self-locking differential, manual transmission, mechanical handbrake and the absence of all the modern unnecessary things that annoy the driver during a sporty drive. We especially love driving on closed mountain roads, where we can practice all driving techniques! - Sport

All those videos on the BRZ/GR86 platform really make me happy to own this car, i know i have so much to learn form this car.

sincerely - hardly can mere mortals reach that level. no offense i mean it in polite way. this is years and years of training and great talent as well. and that part is not trainable.

@@honzavojtech8449That is complete and utter nonsense. What one person can do, another can do. Also, to be honest, driving like this is not that difficult-no offense to the video poster. There's no special 'talent' here; average hand-eye coordination will suffice.

To drive like this, you just need to practice. Plenty of resources on CZcams can show you how. If you want to expedite the process, attend a high-performance driving school that teaches rally and/or drifting techniques.
Don't let people ever tell you what you can and can not accomplish.
You can get to this level with a lot of seat time. Living somewhere where you can practice cheaply and accessibly is extremely helpful (unless you have the $ to splash of course), I can do 10 track practice sessions in Japan for the same price as 1 or 2 in the UK and it's helped me alot. I've known people come out here with everyday driving ability get to a pretty good skill level in a few years.
@@Tokaisanyon thanks a lot! I am planning to come to Japan for holidays maybe I will schedule some track sessions and rent a track car. I am planning to buy a cheap 3 series E36 or E46 to learn how to properly drive.

Na to se tak pěkně kouká... Dal bych si hned. Poslední RWD jsem měl Š120 a Volvo 740 2.4D (ano, D, ne TD) a to úplně nebylo vono, ačkoli srandy s tím na sněhu bylo taky dost.

Super silnice, škoda že je ten sníh přepálený, chtělo to trochu nižší expozici. A osobně mi přijde s RWD lepší na sněhu 3-4 než za 2, tam ta rychlost hned dojde.

Any mods on the car at all? Exhaust sounds stock. Oiling mods? Tires?

I think a camera position in the middle is better. It looks smooth and doesn't dizzy. It's the same driver view level make a seen without camera shake likes in gr86 video.
