Sony needs to change its release policy. You can't release a product with last year's processor on the market in June, while the new one is released in October just 4 months later. In addition, at this price, 512 gb of internal memory should be the minimum, as well as the ufs standard should be 4.0 and not 3.2. Support 5 years of OS and security updates to compete with apple and samsung. The front camera definitely needs a change it is very whitish as well as all the back ones need an upgrade to the best Sony has to offer. Charging needs to be faster on 45w at least. And the screen should be the best with LTPO and 4K. So the Xperia 1 Mark VII should be released in early March at the latest.

This mobile is advertised as a camera and it must have full support for Pal mode like all our Alpha cameras. So please Sony Europe add 50p and 100p on Xperia 1VI In EU we have 50Hz not 60Hz. We shoot 25 50 100. I really hate to say this but iPhone has pal mode and gives 25 and 50p...

looking to upgrade again from Sony Xperia 1 iii, had all up to this and had issues with overheating and finger print reader failing. best Google OS on Sony hence why i stick with them. Can the New Xperia record or picture fire works? eg like in Disney land, special moments with the Children. All my firework shots have been blurred and fire works don't give time for a manual set up. Not good enough…again. Need minimum of 4-5 years of OS updates, and a bigger sensor. Y’all also gotta up the zoom. 10x should be the minimum, and then use computational smarts for digital zoom up to 30x

Very disappointed. I am done with Xperia. Been using Xperia and since 1 II. Dont be fooled guys (I have been fooled many years), even though it has a 85 to 170mm zoom, it is still using the tiny tiny 1/3.5" sensor from the 1 series 6 years ago. While competition now are using the largers 1/2" or 1/2.5" new LYT 800/900 sensors that are much better. The telephone Zoom again is going to be soft, blur and unusable especially in low light. Note that all the reviewers shows you pictures of 85 to 170mm in bright daylight and heavily POST-SHARPEN, but onces light is low, the pictures are unusable. Look carefully and you will see the 85 - 170 zoom pcitures are all blurred in all the Xperia 1 vi videos. WAKE UP SONY.
I don't care about this. I like Sony. Never liked iPhone. For me, Samsung isn't "user friendly". I have a professional Canon. I use the cell only to take casual pics. So yeah. Probably gonna buy this one
Instead of lugging around a DSLR with various lenses popping out this phone is more discreet to take a picture rather than pointing an obvious massive camera and looking obvious!
