Very nice improvements you have done, much less distortion, vignetting and what not. But I do not need a 85mm with aperture 1.4, I would like to see a high end Sony "GMC" 85mm 2.0 that are compact with the highest possible optical image quality that do not need correction in software, I am so tired of big and heavy Lenses ! Your cameras are compact and light weight, though I am a bit disappointed with the Sony A7RV, I do not need all those video functions, in fact I do not need ANY video function, at least make it possible to shut down for ALL video functions and hide them ALL in the menu system ! The A7RV has gotten fat and a bit on the heavy side because of that back screen, I would rather have NO back side screen, but a much larger EVF with highest possible resolution and magnification that sits in the corner like A6xxx series and A7C series cameras, remember to make much better joystick !!! Thank you very much Sony.

Can this xperia snap picture under water like sony xperia z?
Hey there, it's worth to mention that unlike the Xperia Z series, the Xperia 1 Vl is not waterproof, it's water-resistant with IP65/IP68 and dustproof with IP6X, so you shouldn't put the device completely underwater or expose it to seawater, salt water, chlorinated water or liquids such as drinks, also, all ports and attached covers should be firmly closed: cutt.ly/0emHm2nX ^Omnia

I'm using a mbp m1. I tried to update my FX3 but ended up saying "Could not update". I'm updating from V1.01 to V2 and up. Now my screen is black with a solid red LED light on the bottom right corner when I have my battery in and when the camera is both off or on. Please help :( I followed every step on the website. If anyone has a solution, please let me know as well!

SONY your 300mm 2.8, 400mm 2.8 and 600mm 2.8 are great, but why haven´t you made more compact light weight Lenses, like fx 300mm 4.0, 400mm 4.5, 500mm 5.6 etc... !? I was very close to buy the SONY 300mm 2.8 with 1.4x and 2x teleconverters, when I saw the announcement of the Sigma 500mm 5.6 DG DN OS Sports Lens, I ordered it at once and got it in mid March 2024, a very nice compact and light weight Lens ! SONY should have been first with a similar Lens ! We are some that want to see 1.4x and 2x teleconverters for the SONY 135mm 1.8 GM Lens !? You should also make muh better high end teleconverters that are fully open to non-SONY Lenses, thank you very much !

I just bought my a6700 yesterday and had this happen. I followed this verbatim and it worked like a charm. It didn’t start updating from where it left off. I started a fresh firmware and it updated in about 4-6 minutes and I got the body updated screen at the end. I had this happen with my A7SIII when I went to firmware 3.0 and used a similar process as well. Thanks Sony.
