- Gord Downie performs "How Do You Think it Feels" by Lou Reed.
March 2, 2014, would have marked Lou Reed's 72nd birthday, and on Friday March 1st, the Canadian music industry joined Kevin Hearn, of Barenaked Ladies fame, in tribute to Reed, his work and influence.
Over the past several years, Hearn was Reed's musical director and friend. His journey to land this coveted role as Reed's right-hand man is a long and personal one. To say that Reed had an impact on Hearn's life would be an understatement. - Hudba
We miss you Gord 😢
Me too gordie, thanks man.
they just look like they were having so much fun playing that!
Fabulous.
In Gord we trust
5:01 Quand le pianiste se la joue John Cale !
Is that Alan Matheson on the trumpet?
Nicholas Babey not sure, can you make a face like him?
The lead guitar is too buried in the mix. This song is all about guitar.
the drummer needs to step it up on this
then a drummer with another gear should be sought
Ha ha
that unfortunately, is not a good take on the song. The metaphor of Berlin being a fire from which we warmed ourselves in the 70's is however, apt
This is the worst piece from that tribute concert, but of course it's the only one CBC Music has up, because of how much they worship Gord Downie.
