- The Raptor is the ULTIMATE when it comes to the off road truck. Under the hood is a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 that is pumping out 450HP & is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Raptor now has the updated Fox Live Valve system and this one is optioned with the bead lock wheels and Ford Raptor graphics package. On the inside you will find lots of storage space, and this Raptor has the optional Recaro seats, Is this 2020 Ford Raptor with Recaros worth the price?

I still love my Raptor after one year of ownership. I get bored with most cars after a few months. I love the styling, performance and features. It is like having a truck and sports car in one with no compromises.

Love that velocity blue man!! Looks almost as good as it does on my 5.0 lol. Now if Ford would at least offer a twin turbo Coyote option for the Raptor, then we'd be cooking with gas. Great video Joe!

My favorite part about this truck is the Recaro sport seats. They look so good and if I had a raptor, I'd check off that box for that option

15:27 the space in the back is the big difference with the GM full size SUV’s. The F150 is absolutely massive in the back. You can lift up the seats and make a bed on the floor. Or maybe have a party!

Great review, my only question is why does it have a sharkfin antennae on the roof and an old am/fm wire antennae on the fender?
Only thing i wish i got on mine were the recaros. Already replaced the bumper, gave it a 2.5inch lift and threw on some 20inch fuel wheels with 37 inch trail grapplers :D

V6 makes the power, but the sound is out of place. This truck deserves a V8!
Hennessy makes the 2017-2020 velociraptor where they replace the eco boost v6 with a supercharged 5.0 Coyote V8 putting out 750hp.
@ Daniel Feldman...... so this EcoBoost outperforms every other V8 truck, but you think they should move to a less powerful less torque heavier less efficient V8 all because of sound ?? Ha.... thanks for the laugh
Maurice Webb which is why the 750hp 0-60 in 4seconds Hennessy Velociraptor would be a better route to take the the 2017+ raptor.
@@KAZ109 I never said to give it less power. Ford has plenty of V8's. I feel that they should tune one with similar or more power for this truck. I have a feeling somebody buying this truck is NOT overly concerned with fuel economy.

So I just found out that if you have the Recaro Seats that's you also get the Aluminum metal around the vents. That's only with the Recaro seat package.

If you're going off-road, this is the truck to have! You don't need a V8 bc this V6 does it all. Well worth the price in my opinion.

Great spec for the Raptor here. Only thing I hate about Raptor feature content is the lack of multi contour massage seats. I have a 2017 F150 Limited and they are so nice to have for long trips. To spend 77k and not get them when a 64k King Ranch or Platinum has them is frustrating feature availability.
My dream truck! My logic tells me no but my hearts says go for it. I wished that Ford had low rates offered on limited vehicles like these. Active duty Navy E5 salary does not go well with a payment like this :(

I was looking at raptors a few months ago and a few things stood out to me. The technology is dated, push to start is a OPTION THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR (2020 car btw), no power supply at the bed. All of that made my decision easy. Now I’m waiting another year or 2 to buy the next gen or updated version lol.
you should review the updated frontier with the powertrain, the pro4x version tho

The 2020 Raptor Supercrew (like the one you reviewed) can has a max payload+ towing capacity of 8000 lbs.
Payload is 1200 and tow is 8000.

In a truck I prefer a V-8. Give me a naturally aspirated V-8 and you can still get over 450 HP. Beautiful truck, love those F-150’s, the Raptor package makes it a hot drive.

Cool video, I know the performance numbers for the 6 are impressive but for that money it should have a V8. Plus any time I’ve been next to one of these when someone gets on it the sound you get is like a 90’s V6 mustang with a fart can!

If Ford can use an EcoBoost in the beautiful race winning Ford GT Super car. I think using the EcoBoost in the Raptor is a great choice. It has amazing performance. In the F-150 the 3.6 EcoBoost, 375/470 ft lbs is a better set-up than the V8 option. Take a test drive, then make your comparison.

I have this exact truck got it three weeks ago. Bear in mind lots of deals going. My sticker was 77,7xx got it for 68 and some change. So in reality you can get a pretty loaded raptor in the mid to high 60s if you are willing to look around.

My local ford dealer has a used one like this it's a 19 blue carbon fiber Recaro seats beadlock wheels 56k miles 64k dollars we did the whole numbers game it was going to be 70k out the door I passed on it just didn't make sense for a now 4year old truck with almost 60k miles to still be 70k Dr. definitely got a deal on a new for 68k
I have a 2019 black all options but the Recaro seats, they only come in blue and didn't want blue seats on a black truck. Got it for 6500 less than MSRP. When priced against the other top F150 limited the Raptor was a no brainers. Oh internet rumor is no 2021 Raptor and the 2022 with be gas/electric hybrid.

18:21 Gen2 Raptor is much faster than the Gen1 V8. But the sound from the 8 cylinder... it’s so much better. Do you sacrifice a bit of speed for a great sound? I did.

Chad Winfree that might be said for someone who needs power to enjoy themselves. Even though they will rarely experience that difference. Just the need to feel it’s there. Rather that enjoy the benefit of sound everytime he starts and drives his truck.
