i feel like this show is gonna be huge, like you said. especially with the buzz they've really built lately with Queen's Gambit and Bridgerton. Netflix is doing what HBO has done in the past tbh, with Game of Thrones and Westworld.

I didn’t know Ben Barnes was playing the Darkling!!! I’ve been avoiding everything about it so nothing gets spoiled (lol I read the book but you know what I mean) and I flipped my lid watching this trailer. SO EXCITED
His playing the darkling but I’m pretty sure they said his name is different on the show though 🤷🏻♀️

i was too happy to cry the first 7 times but then when i played it on my big screen tv i started tearing up cause the beauty of it hit me

FINALLY someone who's not hating on Mal haha. I genuinely don't understand why he gets so much hate! I like both him and the Darkling as characters so I really don't see where it's coming from.
But anyway, this trailer looks incredible I'm even more excited than I was before, and I didn't know it was possible!! The cast is surprisingly on point, especially the Crows, they look so good. I can't wait until April omg this is going to be amazing
i 100% agree! i used to be a mal hater, but when i re-read the books i just fell in love with everything leigh did with his character! so excited for archie’s take on him too bc he genuinely seems to love mal too. so so excited for april!! 💞💞
I seriously never got the mal slander. Is he a bit annoying at times? Yes. But the fandom treats him like he’s the worst of the worst which is very infuriating
@@hhol8 i think just because people liked the darkling and Nickolai better. But the books start and are about Alina and Mal. They can be very sweet. I hope they really show it of in the show

I watched the trailer during my lunch break and idk how I expected to get any work done afterwards😂so so so excited!!! the cast reactions and q&a/discussion afterwards was also wonderful

It looks like it'll be amazing. I haven't read the books so I can't say that much about it, but I do know that I wish the Shadowhunters series wasn't done so dirty by Freeform :( because I wanted an adaptation for one of my faves that looked good too.

I am SCREAMING! I will say I’m still skeptical because I don’t wanna be hurt like I was with Shadowhunters lol but my love for Shadow and Bone is immeasurable especially Six of Crows. It’s my favorite YA novel of ALL time. I think I should reread all the books before April 23. Also Rule of Wolves comes out March 30 so this is just an exciting time to be a YA reader!
I wasn’t fan of shadow and bone the first time I read it but this reread was amazing I can’t wait for the show

I'm so excited for this show. I finished reading the book today and I absolutely loved it. I'm going to start reading Six of Crows tomorrow. I'm so excited to start reading and reading about Max. I just love the world that Leigh has created with the Shadow Fold, the Grisha, and the mystery of the Darkling. I also love him a lot and ship him with Alina so much. They have amazing chemistry. But I also ship Mal and Alina just a little bit. I've watched the trailer so many times already. What I really loved is they pulled a lot of quotes from the book into the show. I'm very excited to see the mercy that will be coming to Hot Topic. I'm also really excited to see so many scenes especially Alina entering the Shadow Fold and Alien showing her power to the King and Queen at the Little Palace. 😍

I was screaming internally like. Everything looks just so good. We got glimpse of Genya, and the costumes and the cast OMG. So SO GOD. I am so thrilled for the show.
And did not enjoy much of the Shadow and Bone books, but seeing it in motion on screen is definitely worth it. Like the book had the potential to be amazing if turned into show In motion. OMG. The actors. Like Jesper's wink, Kaz's and Inej's expression. And DARKLING ❤️❤️❤️
