Not all people addicted to this and other drugs are to blame for their addiction. Some start out on pain medications prescribed by their doctors and somehow transition to these street drugs to ward off withdrawal from their initially doctor-prescribed pain medicines.
That’s wild how drugs would make it to Hawaii. The lower 48 has it much harder since they can use tunnels, cross where no borders or weak security, and tractor trailers.
You have to ship it via boat, mail USPS only ones that do not xray, and private plane. Unfortunately, they don’t ID bag search or body search private plane search.

My neighbor past away a year or 2 ago to fentanyl it was heart breaking he was Mexican originally from California and me and him became friends he was a humble young guy hard to find friends like that now days.

illegal drugs , is the root cause of all problems, second laziness, the generational relying on forever government welfare and free almost of everything, free education for those but they won't take the opportunity, half of them are also drug dealers/pushers etc.... Earning illegal money without tax, while receiving free housing, financial, food and medical assistants and they're young and healthy. we support families with children who don't have enough, the elderlies. and individuals with disabilities. there are a lot of home break ins, stealing everything, and stores as well. Most os them are youngster. they grab bags from tourists and elderlies, this must stop! We heard siren everyday for police , but ....cars parked everywhere illegally were not focused by authorities, this comments were done in a mindful and factfull manner, hawaiinis not like before anymore where young children can ran around in parks, sit on benches to relax and read etc.
