As a long time Colts fan I am optimistic, but also realistic. This team could realistically win 11 or 12 games, but we could just as easily lose that many (or more). Truth is we haven't seen enough of AR to know how effective he can be throwing the ball. This season will be interesting to say the least.

Their overall weakness really wasn’t defense if you watched the games. Defense kept them in games they had no business being in after Minshew took over cus he’d turn the ball over constantly in terrible spots. Defense was always on the field
everyone forgets that week 18 was when the afc south was decided. if the colts had won, the texan's weren't in the playoffs. they lost and fell to the third spot in the afc south. gardner was a good back up, but flacco is a way better qb. then you have to figure in that the teams that played them didn't have to defend against jt and ar at all (just 2 snaps). win and in week 18 last year, getting better at back up qb, and getting more weapons on both sides of the ball. people just over look them because there isn't any "superstars" JT is going to light it up this year (unless injured) and ar has a full year of sitting in on the meetings and practices. timing and injury are the only things he has to work on.
Guys lets be honest here. We drafted a project QB @ 4. Our oline is getting old, we don't have time to develop a QB. The 2 leaders on the oline are running out of steam and we have a team now, not in 3 years without continually spending 1st/2nd round picks on the oline. The same can be said about the dline. These players are wasted on a developmental QB. B. Raimann is the youngest playing in his 4th year Q. Nelson is playing in his 8th year R. Kelly is playing in his 10th year W. Fries is playing in his 5th year B. Smith is playing in his 8th year
As a lifetime Colts fan, im liking the current team and its depth... except for QB. Richardson still has a lot to learn and, more importantly, stay healthy. He has a lot of weapons to offload the ball to and let them absorbed the contact; not be the superhero that shoulders everything. I like Joe Flacco. Hes a solid on field GM. However, if AR goes down for another longterm serious injury, im not sure Flacco could survive an entire season as the starter, especially in the competitive AFC south. Im hoping for for an 11+ wins and a playoff win IF eveeyone stays healthy

I'm a colts fan. I live in Indiana but I'm not like overly optimistic like a lot of fans are. The big if is obviously. Anthony Richardson how many games did he finish in his rookie year? What one or two?? I think at best you're going to hope for him to play 10 to 14 games and I think that's it best. Flacco the damn turnover machine. I could see the team being five to seven wins If Richardson gets hurt and if he plays most of the games 9 to 11 wins
Bro are defense needs allot of help allot LB's guaranteed they won't get forced fumbles no pick 6 because franklin and speed ain't no cover LB's to me I would like to see some one like maniac again he was impressive until he got hurt our secondary sheesh that's a whole page of needing help we have no vets Moore can't do it by himself blackmon is good If he don't get hurt cross is still a rookie or plays like a rookie brebts needs that vet help he needs that guidance to help him make big plays go up and win 50/50 balls in the air we need a raw defense and we don't have that they play patty cake football but our offense I'm excited to see
