If you followed him for a long time or seen some of his cooking shows you'll see that deep down, he has a gentle heart and always want the best for people, pushing them to do their best (even on reality shows like Kitchen Nightmares). He has a wonderful family and seems like a great father too.

Yeah, I've seen quite a few of his other shows (like where he'd travel to other countries to learn their cooking techniques and then try it himself) and you see how cool he really is in those, but not much in Hell's Kitchen because it's meant to be tough, thus the name. Even then, you'll see him smile and laughing at time when they win a trip to go somewhere on a boat or something like that.
