What good thing happened to me this past week? Well, despite the fact my husband and I decided not to get any more cats (we have 2), a perfect angel of a tabby cat showed up in our yard for several days. He doesn't belong to anyone in the neighborhood and I was losing sleep worrying about him out there. He is the absolute sweetest, most affectionate, trusting cat in the world and has now officially joined our family, indoors and SAFE. He truly is a gift from the Universe ❤

Aw, thanks. We are keeping him separate from the other cats and dogs until he is vet checked and vaccinated. We'll introduce them slowly. This is going to be tricky 😬 @@MiraByler

I’ve really been inspired by your take on art and creating to learn and try new things rather than for the end result. I’ve been using my sketchbook so much more freely and it also reminds me that I don’t need my art to be ideal every time because then I’m not trying new techniques or learning new ways to create- we learn from what we do and don’t like- it all plays into intentionality 🫶🏻 love love love your videos thank you for being such a safe space 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

This spread looks so fun and playful, been loving the sketchbook videos lately -they always inspire me to draw 😄💖
The thing I always go back to with drawing is a dead tree occasionally I add leaves. It is easy and looks good with lead pencil. Or a fish with the biggest curly twirly detailed tail and fins. Like filigree.
This week I have seen a larger variety of butterflies in my garden and it made me so happy. I need to plant more buddleia's because they love them.

At the age of 30 I haven’t been into art since high school, my 8 year old got me interested in art again.
I started out thinking I wanted to draw these cute people & cute styles, that I see all over the internet but I have come to enjoy just doodling 😊

This is one of my favorite series because I struggle to put random things together. Sometimes I want to create a piece that’s random. And sometimes I make something random and I have no idea what to do with the rest of the page besides doing a background or create more of the same😌
I'm super glad you're doing this! Doodling in my sketchbook is my favorite thing to do while I'm watching YT, so this is perfect. AND! Bonus! I learned a new technique by watching you doodle, so it's educational, too! Now you basically HAVE to keep doing doodling videos! ;)

Your other pencil case the long sleeve me that was minty - it fits SO MUCH and the length is so perfect for any tool I might put in there. I fit a little watercolor sketchbook also

The cat with 5 eyes is so amusing!! 😂 When the light hit it, it looked like rainbow whiskers!! 🌈 The green guy made me think of a pea with Hades(from Hercules) hair! 😅 Really loving the idea of the cat hanging from the moon as a sticker!! 🐈

I have ordered both your pencil pouches and LOVE them both. They are really roomy and can fit lots of things. I got it especially to fit my Tombow Brush Pens because nothing can fit them. Thank you making these as room as they are. 🥰💕.. I love the cat and moth sketches too. 🥰
The go to drawing I used to do in highschool was the Eiffel Tower 😂 that's a memory I had totally tucked away. My go to now is plants and I was painting a monstera while watching this 😅

When I finish a sketchbook page , which is a coincidence, 2 days ago I just finished filling a sketchbook page, I usually add circles/dots as decoration!
I used cold and silver metallic acrylic markers!
And other colors too 😊

I think they call those little pansies ' Johnny jump-ups' because they jump up in the middle of winter and sometimes even in the snow! I grew up in Colorado and they came every late winter. They make me happy! I usually get mine from a seasonal flower pot from the prior season and they spread like weeds. Happy weeds, or flowers. Whatever way you look at it, right?? "A weed doesn't know it's a weed...it's always been a flower." ❤ @mirabyler

I'm busy filling my sketchbook with giraffes and acacia trees as I'm planning a set of canvas paintings so I'm working out what to do with them.
I had a fab afternoon with my niblings (my sister's kids) playing around and although it was shorter than I'd liked it was definitely needed after weeks of being too ill.
Will people in the UK be able to buy from your shop at all or are the shipping and taxes etc prohibitively expensive?
Fun! I was finally reparing an annoying flappy bit on the sleeve of my favorite fleece jacket (I put it through the wash after a cold, and I told myself I wasn't allowed to wear it until I fixed it😅), but earlier this evening I finished drawing a scene from Avatar: The Last Airbender as a comic strip in my Create This Book 🙂
