Hi I'm Shaun Jones. I am a personal trainer, gym owner & martial arts enthusiast. I've been in quite a few fights and I've done that choke before and most of the time it works for me. I have only done 2 years of BJJ in the past too so I would say it's THAT high level, just gotta use your brain when doing it.
