The camera in the nest was installed as a part of the project ‘Preservation of eagle populations living in the territory where Tatneft PJSC operates’. This project started predator birds of Tatarstan online observations. The project is also actively supported by the participation of volunteer.
The nest is located on a pine tree at a height of 35 meters (115 ft). Its size is 1.3x0.9 meters (4x3 ft). The eagles were named Chulman (male) and Kama (female). The pair wintered not far from the nest.
In 2024
The couple of eagles was first seen together on February 15.
The first mating happened on February 23.
The first egg was laid on March 27, the second one was on March 30.
The first eaglet hatched on May 2. The second eaglet hatched on May 5.
In 2023
The first mating was on February 28.

The egg was laid between 6:49 PM March 24 and 4:45 AM March 25.
The chick hatched at night from 28 to 29 April. It was named Yar.
First flight: 9 July.

Yar was last seen in the nest on November 26, 2023.
