Introducing the Legacy 4J Mod, a mod that completely replicates the Legacy/Console Edition experience in Minecraft Java Edition. No, this ain't no texture pack, this is a full mod.

keep in mind the mod in the reconsole modpack called "golden age combat" adds a 10% hitbox boost, which is bannable on hypixel. you can disable this in its config file

When I try to load it it loads the game but before the window can completely open it just dies and turns off. It worked before, but now it’s not. 🙁

I can't disable classic crafting On Servers for some reason

Classic Crafting has to be enabled for servers, it's just how the mod was coded. I've had the same issues when playing on a survival server.

Sadly, it's only a setting available within the mod.

If the link is not adding it, I'd recommend going through Modrinth or whatever launcher you're using, then search it up, and add it from there. I used Modrinth since it was easier. The modpack is called Re-Console.

I think the systems were designed for PC users, not mobile just yet. I would love to see it come out sometime soon though.

Not yet. As of right now this is a java only mod. Due to how the bedrock system is different, I don't think it'll be possible.

I don't know how to feel about this. For years, I've experienced backlash towards legacy console edition by Java players and even watching Java players complain and looked down on console players. Now, seeing them make a mod to recreate the look and feel of legacy console edition, and if I heard at one point, trying to make it "better" feels weird.

kind of because minecraft lost its soul, if you compare java now to what it used to be its graphics and charm actually went away
