He's got a lightning fast release sorta like we see from Rodgers and Brady, having the ability to get the ball off fast is massive plus he is 6'6 so he can see everything above the oline . The only question is can he do it at the college level against some of the best college players. And most people definitely agree that he can.
Instead comparing him to Rodgers and Brady why dont you compare him to current top college quarterbacks. Makes no sense to compare a guy who hasn't played a snap in college football.

Yeah, I think NIL is something that has been in the works for a while. I'm liking it too so that we can get another NCAA Football game. I'm a Vol fan and happy we have someone like Nico. More than skilled, he's got a great personality and attitude.
He was coached at Warren H.S. (Cali) by the same coach Kevin Pearson who had Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young at Cathedral H.S. for freshman and sophomore years.
He still plays for Warren. Transferred back

Yes. College players should make a salary. But, all players should make the same amount no matter what sport or school they play for. A women's volleyball player at Kent State should make the same money as a starting Quarterback at Alabama. And they should not be able to play ANY sports for another school if they transfer. Just my opinion though.

He'll manage like Hendon Hooker does here. Like Hendon, he appears to be able to get out of trouble and use his legs. Heupel is one of the best coaches for a QB. Both Hooker and Milton have improved here.
How exactly do you know what he's worth to begin with if you have to ask a question like,"Can he read defenses?". Doesn't really sound like you know anything about him. I trust Heupel's decision more than someone on the internet who has no credentials. He knows what he's looking for in players, especially those at QB. Hooker came from doing just okay at VT, then came here and now he's a Heisman candidate.

There is such peer pressure, school pressure and of course internet pressure. I wish him the best and totally look forward to watching him play. I will say this, I don't like the 90s retro look.
