@Mr. SisterFister Absolutely! Plus, my children gave it to me for Father's Day a few years ago, so there's that too. :-)
So true about the lack of motivation. I couldn't do anything for over 5 years. Felt like if i could just lay there and fade away, i totally would... Tried everything. TRT finally fixed it.
I feel tired a lot. I do training and stuff. A lot of running. I feel energised sometimes. But sometimes. Like you said. Some dory’s I just lay at home all day. And have no motivation whatsoever. Just feel tired a lot. Is that low TRT. And how are you finding it. Do your energy levels seem higher ?
@@jimmybaldwin737 it very well could be. Please get blood work done.
@@BlackrainOrdinance thanks. When you say blood work. Do you mean blood test ? Or is blood work different ? Also my blood tests have said there’s mild concern on my kidney function. But they said there’s a dip in all peoples checks sometimes. So the next test was ok. But I’ve heard when your kidneys aren’t functioning properly. That can cause tiredness a lot aswell. What you think ? Thanks
i start in a week i hope i feel the same

Hey Rich, what's your protocol? Awesome results!
Yes it would be interesting to know your protocol to get such good results, still trying to find mine.
I inject 3 times a week, makes your moods more stable. .25 on mon. Tues. fri. Which is 150 of test a week. E2 is 80, I also gained a libido like I was 18 again.

The "good idea vs no motivation" is spot on. Couldn't have expressed it better myself.
Glad you liked it, my friend. Thanks for watching!
Oh wow, it’s spot on with me. Frig!!
You look and sound like you could be idubbbz dad.

I'm glad you're having good success with your TRT so far. Thanks for the vids.
I am 55 and have all those benefits as well after 3 months with 150 mgs of compounded TRT cream. However there is one amazing benefit I had no idea would occur and it his changed my life: frequent urination. I used to pee 4-5 times a day (and dribbled a lot) and during sleep time would get up twice…now I pee twice per day and 0 visits during sleep time. Previously I had gone to a urologist to check for prostate and other issues relative to frequent urination (polyuria) and all my vitals were fine, so the urologist prescribed an anti-diuretic medication which not only did not work, but dried my mouth all the time.
For those men who have this problem (most men to some degree after 50 years old) my experience is that the TRT eliminates it…I have my life back
Thank you so much for making this channel! I'm starting my TRT soon. It's a little intimidating a first. It's comforting to know there are other men going through this 🙏

I just started mine 1 week ago. I already feel some better.
That skit about motivation is the exact dilemma I found myself in for the past 4 or so years. It costed me all my academic aspirations as well as my hobbies. I led a very healthy lifestyle including physical activity and diet. But unfortunately, due to a thyroid problem I had no idea I had, my lack of motivation and then depression costed me everything I loved in life. I am 19 years old with 235 ng/dl of free test. Luckily now, I’m getting a look at from a specialist. My appointment for what will be my treatment is soon, and I’m 99% sure it will be TRT. I can’t wait to get started. Thank you for making this video, now I have something to show people when they ask what it’s like to have no motivation.
I'm glad you'll be seeing the specialist and I know it feels good to have some hope of change coming. It's crazy just how much our hormones affect our overall well-being.

I agree with everything you’ve said. I’ve started TRT recently and I’ve just spontaneously noticed myself playing with my children and actually having fun. I’m not trying to change my attitude. I just realize sometimes like, “Woah, I haven’t gotten angry or tried to go inside yet,” and it’s just like that now.
Glad to hear you're already seeing improvements! I'll be here along the way if you have questions or concerns. Just leave a comment in any of my videos and I should see it.

Great video. You nailed it about the moods. I felt the same way before I started TRT. I would hit big time lows. I'm going on 3 months myself and I have to say I feel way better.
I love the part where you act out the low motivation! This is me to a ‘T’ (no pun intended). It gives me great hope as I mentally have wants and ideas but it does not translate to the physical. Intense fatigue and then guilt for doing nothing and not engaging in life. I start trt next week with hopes!

Going in to have bloodwork done in a week. My biggest motivation is the mood and motivation. Working out is just habit for me but doing anything, even something like walking the dog is like pulling teeth. It’s like I have to do everything completely against my will. I can remember when I actually looked forward to waking up but it’s been a while. Thanks for the vid!
I really hope you see great improvements in those areas like I did. You should begin to see changes little by little within the first 4-6 weeks. It's not a magic overnight fix, but I can recall seeing improvements within the first month.

Did my second exam today. Had a 430 last week and a 289 today for total T. 9.31 on free T both tests. Got my first injection before I left today. Hoping to feel a bit more normal in a few weeks. I am definitely relieved that there is an end to the “drone” feeling in sight.

Great video. Getting my levels tested on Tuesday. Excited to see where they are at. Been experiencing the same things so figured what the heck, let’s get checked.

Two years ago I got a T test at 27 years old and I was at a 317 and the VA said I was normal but I didn't feel like it was normal, during deployments I would workout every day for 6 months and only had minor gains. Did another T test 2 days ago at a TRT clinic and I was at a 306 so I opted to start TRT, got my first injection and and looking forward to the next couple of weeks. Always struggled with feeling tired and the day after my first injection I already noticed it was easier to wake up and get out of bed.
i know it hasnt been long but any up dates?
@@chriswhynder8311 I got my second injection last Saturday (160mg as opposed to the 200mg I got for the first injection), I've been feeling better overall. It's been much easier to get up and out of bed in the mornings, I'm not constantly lethargic and have heavy eyes anymore, and the morning grogginess usually goes away within 5 minutes of getting out of bed. I'm also taking estrogen blockers since my estradiol was at 41 before I started my injections. I'll be getting another blood test done at week 6 to see where I'm at.
Crazy dude I’m 275 and I’m 31 years old

Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, we're all a little nervous at the beginning. It's a new adventure and it involves needles, so that's enough to give anyone the jitters. Realize it might take more than one test before your insurance company get's onboard. "T" levels aren't consistent, they vary day to day and throughout the day. Further, some MD's are hesitant to prescribe "T", just know that going in. Also remember that "T" levels are highest in the morning, so while you might have "normal" to the bottom end of the ("normal") spectrum in the morning those WILL drop throughout the day. Sometimes significantly. Some insurance companies will go with the morning test results and try to disqualify you. This is just them trying to save some money.
One other piece of advice to anyone seeking this help. Go to the Mayo Clinic website on this topic. Print out the symptoms, and put a checkmark at all that apply to you. Few if any MD's are going to go against what the Mayo Clinic has to say.

Thank you for talking about mood and motivation. Those two areas and a couple others caused me to make an appointment with my urologist in a week from now and I’m looking at TRT.
My pleasure. And thank you for watching and commenting.
Bad mood and lack of motivation were some of the first things that made me realize that something was wrong. I've always been a happy, chipper guy. Even my wife once said something to the effect of, "I miss my husband." Then once my energy just started dropping off for no reason, I knew I had to go to the doctor to see what was going on.
It's up you, but I'd love to hear back from you on what you find out from your urologist.
Take care and God bless.

I’ve worked out consistently for 24 years and I’ve never felt this bad. My workouts get done because I am too hard headed not to do it but I have no desire to do anything. I have always been super motivated & a very determined person, so I have been deeply concerned. I am always down. I hope the TRT helps very soon!

I'm sorry to hear about all you're going through. As you saw, I can completely relate, as many of us can who also comment on these videos. You're not alone in what you're going through.
At six weeks in I'm sure you've seen some improvement, but of course you would have liked to see them more quickly as well as seeing everything fixed by now. We all see change at different times. I saw improvement rather quickly, but I've talked to others who've started to feel better around 2 months.

That's great, and I'm happy to hear you'll finally be getting some answers. I'm so thankful I learned the root behind all my negative symptoms was just low T. It's easily treatable with a weekly shot and now I'm feeling like my old self again.

How did it go? Thanks
Great info! You hit all the things I was curious about because like you I’ve been experiencing the same lack of motivation and mood fluctuations.
Did you have any noticeable decrease in weight?
Thanks for watching, commenting, and for your question.
Yes, back before I went into see the doctor (when my T level was at it's lowest) I could drop weight pretty easily. I was thinner then and I was trying to be lean, but now that I'm on TRT it's really increased my appetite. So it's been harder for me to get as thin (around the waist) as I was back when my T was low.
Now I just want to eat anything that's not nailed down. 😁
Hope this helps. Thanks again for watching.

Man I’m 42 and want to get on TRT. I’ve only heard good things about it. Thanks for the video.
you will feel better, but make sure you need it because once you start, you will do it for life.. if you come off you will be lower than ever having been when you went in and may never produce on your own again... also no babies.. unless you use hcg.. now hcg and test you will have spikes in E2 so now you will need amridex.. that being said.. and possible side effects of hairloss and small balls you will possibly feel better!
Don't you think you need to hear about the side effect first? Nothing is ALL good.
@@bobdoyle5945 dude are serious about this side effects? Especially hair lose? I am thinking of trt soon. Please advise me
@@olympushoque573 if you have had your blood work done and understand the numbers and are indeed suffering from low T.. then the positives far out weight the negatives. The skinny on the sides are as follows.... DO you have the start or aggressive hair pattern baldness already? Does your family? If so TRT can cause what is going to happen.. to happen faster.. the end result is the same result only quicker.. not by much though because trt is a very low doss of testosterone. Other side effects can vary but are general super easy to deal with. If your E2 levels cause side effects or are to high they will prescribe a very low doss of Arimidex. If your hemotocrit levels get out of hand you will have to donate blood from time to time.. IF you have a possible cancer of the prostate it can increase its speed of growth and spread.. Get a very well known and educated trt doc and you will be fine... sounds scary this stuff i know.. but it really is not and you will feel way better.. DO not get a bad doc!! that is importation.. or your trt exp will suck! oh one more thing.. which will happen..! your balls will get smaller! now you can do some hcg but it is a pain in the ass and difficult to time the diff drugs.. and costly .. so let em get small.. it will make your junk look bigger anyways! peace brother
@@bobdoyle5945 Hello Brother thanks for writing such a big advice, thanks for your time.now I got confused what to do. no one in our family losing hair or bald. only me loosing hair everyday, don't know why but trying to stop it by using very good shampoo. lets see. Therefore, I know if I don't take trt I won't get my desire body because whenever I go to gym I feel week, but using art I can't consider losing my hair.
You remind me of Jon Cryer. I enjoy your videos and Im considering getting my T tested soon. Thank you for all your helpful information.
And thank you for your comment. I'm glad your liking the vids. I plan on making one soon concerning who should and shouldn't get on TRT. Sounds like one you'd also benefit from also.
Keep us posted if you do get tested. God bless.

Hello There.!! First of all, thank you for the Video. I am about to start my TRT. I am going to have my first appointment for Hormones Measurements. Can I ask you something? How often you have to take the shot? I am very excited to see my blood level results. Once more, Thank you.!
Just started trt today. Total T of 70. Thanks for this video very helpful!
Soooooo true. It will make you feel alive again.
Nice production, thanks for taking the time to help others. To anyone reading, before trt , learn to fast, OMAD, 1/48 and good nutrition. If you have a serious condition maybe trt is your only solution but you always want to get your body running optimally before seeing the drug dealer phd.
Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, that's great advice and exactly why I made this video called "Should I Start TRT?" m.czcams.com/video/qP1GKwF1-eM/video.html

Great to hear its working for you. I just started TRT a week ago. 3 months from now I hope to give some good feedback on my results.
I hope so too, my friend. Little by little you'll begin to see changes in attitude, energy, and physique. It won't all happen over night, but yes, in three months you should be able to look back and see some positive changes.

Great video...love how it was creative and entertaining, not just a boring talk!
Glad you liked it. Why not laugh while we learn, right?
I'm 56. Had all the similar symptoms. I decided to do a 3 month lifestyle change to raise my testosterone naturally, before going on Trt. I changed my diet, got quality sleep, and incorporated weight lifting and walking. With 2 weeks left I feel great. Lost the depression, fat, and increased muscle mass. Wouldn't consider Trt now. I think most people should a natural approach first.
Yes, I totally agree with you. I made this video all about what other things you should try first before trying TRT: czcams.com/video/qP1GKwF1-eM/video.html
I'm the same age (56), lifted weights, changed diet, lost 25 lbs (6'1", 190lbs), Testosterone at 287....just started therapy
@@boxerboss5284 I started too. I’m 59
How’s it going now?
@@comeon_man Doing great after 12 weeks! Concentration much better, workout recovery is amazing, mood swings are gone, gained more muscle in chest and arms. I go this week for blood test results.
@@boxerboss5284 great to hear. Good for you.
What really stinks is the scales used to determine what "low t" is so arbitrary. One person can have 560 total test and feel fine while another person can feel like dogshit at the same level. I believe all test levels to shoot for should be scaled to what an average mid-20's male would have.
im 27 years old got my blood work done and results came back at 420 total test and i feel like dogshit everyday lol doc refuses to put me on TRT since im in "normal range" lol.
regular doctors only go by the numbers and its sad, i had to go see a specialist because i refused to take no as an answer. I tested at 350, and 450. both "normal" for a 30 year old. I had all of the symptoms but that didnt matter. Just some dude who lifts looking for roids ya know.
I’m in the same boat I have 582 total T but feel less energy, irritability and a lot less libido. I really want to optimize my test. Have an appointment with a clinic that is all about optimization so hopefully I’m good.
About to start my journey. I've felt the way you did for several years now. It came on suddenly, so I got checked out. Finally have my injections. I'm looking forward to life improving.

Good luck to you.
I'm 36 years old, 425ng that is considered pretty normal, but with a long term mid-intensity depression, sometimes with panic attacks and generalized anxiety. After 4 or 5 years of taking antidepressants I've decided to began with something more natural that didn't effect the CNS. The answer: testosterone injections. Noted that after a while, my mood and energy becomes so much improved that I could cease to use one of my mood drugs and decrease dose of another one, and still feeling in confident with the improvements in my health. That could save my life. Thanks to share your history with your video.
Thank you for watching and for sharing your story as well. Yes, I really wish doctors were more quick to check T levels when men who are 30+ begin feeling mood swings/depression. I'm not a proponent of antidepressants as I've talked to others who mention the negative changes in other moods they also create (numbing of the conscience, etc.).
I'm glad you're going with more natural treatments like replacing T levels. I'm even more happy you're feeling like yourself again and able to stop (or decrease) your antidepressants. I hope you're able to get off them completely one day.
Thanks again and welcome to the community.

On week 12 myself. Here's something crazy I have laser like focus on any task I have to do and also things smell so strong now and I crave more and more meat(I already had a meat tooth) than usual. Also seem anything I do in the gym works. I also enjoy life even more now. I thought I was clinically depressed. But best part is my libido is that of 16 year old me and my mood and quality of sleep is awesome.
Yes, it's really amazing how our hormone levels affect so much about us. Getting them back to where they're supposed to be changes almost everything. I'm glad you're having such good success with it.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
sal 0 how old were you when you started ? Plz and thanks
@@sal9523 I'm 33 just started. I'm on week 12. I thought it was kinda strange for a man my age to be on that so soon but dr assured me it's very common. I dont have a history of using any anabolic steroids but in my late teens and early 20s i used to be heavily into vitamins and sports supplements. Dr thinks I may have taken something that now has been banned by the fda and WADA. Hard to say because I always stayed clear of those thing even those prohormones stuff that was easily available at gnc. I was to broke to even afford protein powders then let alone whatever the hell that stuff was. I used to be 435lbs as a teenager so being big was already natural just burned off the fat till about 5 years ago ballooned upto 325 from 245lbs. Thank god I got help I'm weighing 276lbs so along with trt and a very low carb high protein diet I'm getting into the best health of my life.
Just got my 13 weeks lab results. My testosterone was at 1452ng/dl and my estradiol was 46.0 pg. My test n estradiol was high but honestly my dr decided that my 200mg of test c is fine. So now in the middle of the week when I take my 2nd hcg shot I have to take an extra 0.5g of arimidex to bring down the estradiol levels. I have been a little bloated the last month. But honestly I feel great.
I just started 1st week. Lol
"... yes, we have a television set."
LMAO.

Great video. I’ve been on for a month now and feel amazing. The best results have been the changes to my mood and motivation. Mine was in the teens if I recall correctly. At the level I was, I read it causes organ damage. It was the same w/ my wife, her Iron levels were so low. Her lungs and heart hurt. She needed blood transfusions. It was crazy
" Good Idea me" vs "Unmotivated can-I-just-have-a-nap me"..Yes, that's EXACTLY the conversations I was having in my head. And I actually did often need naps to make it through the day.
Despite my T usually just squeezing into the normal range, I did decide to give TRT a go recently. So far so good. Just trying to find the lowest does at which I feel good. Went as low as 105mg/week over the past week and a half, but the need for lots of naps returned swiftly, so upping it back to 120-130 now.
Anyway thanks for sharing your experience. Really appreciate it.
My pleasure. There is a bit of tweaking we all have to do with the dosage in the first months. You’ll find what your body likes. Your doctor will also check your blood every 3-6 months to see where your levels are landing. He/she will then adjust accordingly.
Drop in any time if you have questions along the way. I’m happy to help.

Oh wow. Mine was 183 as well. I had problems keeping warm, night sweats, and hot flashes that I thought was a fever lol. And mood swings. I went from angry to almost crying while eating cereal 😂. I’m not on trt. I’m trying natural stuff because I don’t want to go to the doctors office with all that’s going on right now. But if I can’t get my numbers up, I’m going to have to do the trt as well. Thank you for sharing your story. 💪🏾

Soul in Training what ru using/doing naturally?
Jon Photos hi Jon. So I started drinking ginger tea daily at one point but now like once or twice a month, I tried tongkat Ali but didn’t like it, staying away from mint since that’s how I found out my testosterone was low in the first place(mint lotion dropped it like a downward spike and increased all the bad symptoms). Started strength training more but not excess cuz that can lower it. Vitamin D 5000ui daily and Ashwaghanda 500mg daily. And a new multivitamin that has more zinc than my last one(new vitamins is whole earth sea men’s). I already eat a lot of garlic, onions, and broccoli and that’s supposed to help. I bought a bpa free water bottle(bottle joy 1 gallon from amazon)and I use that for all of my water drinking now(pur filter on the kitchen sink faucet). I started eating eggs more. And intermittent fasting. I do a loose 16:8. Harder days it’s like 18:10. Higher number is no eating, and lower number is my eating window. Hope this helps you. =)
Oh wait. And I reduced my stress. I get panic attacks a lot. And I found out that stress and anxiety lower it too. So I do a lot of deep breathing and lavender essential oil to try and keep my body calmer. I go for my next test near the end of the year. I’ve postponed it cuz of covid and me not wanting to go to hospitals. My last test within like a month of trying all this, brought it up to 281 ng/dL from the 183. Not a lot, but I just know it went up a bit and now I don’t have those symptoms.
Jon Photos one last thing, is that I try to stay away from Soy based products as well. That supposedly has a negative effect on testosterone or increases estrogen or something.
Your voice is so calming you could do audiobooks or meditation videos lol.
Wow. Thank you. And thanks for watching.
I started TRT last week. It's 1 week today. I'm able to now work out more and exercise better. I'm more calm, more motivated, happier, and able to think very clearly now. I'm 300lbs, so I'm really hoping that I gain muscle and drop body fat to have a nice body recomposition....
Today, I received the long-awaited results of my bloodwork, and the news has left me feeling disheartened. My levels, once in harmony, have now become a disarrayed symphony, evoking a sense of concern within me. The signs were unmistakable - the gradual weight gain of over 100 pounds, the shifting moods, the unwelcome embrace of depression, the fading flame of my once-vibrant desire, and the absence of motivation in every step I took. Yet, amidst this turmoil, I found solace in my decision to take charge of my well-being, to delve deeper into the root cause of my struggles. Now, as I eagerly await my appointment at the esteemed testosterone clinic, a flicker of hope ignites within me, for I know that the path to healing and rejuvenation lies just ahead.

Loved the vid !
Been suffering with chronic fatigue for 3 years. Got some bloodwork done and it showed Low testosterone. The way they measure it is a little different in the UK...They run it on a scale with 8.5 being low and mine showed up as 8. Getting a full body examination in 2 weeks and some more bloods to do then maybe discuss TRT. By the way I'm 39.
Gotcha. Thanks for sharing your journey so far.
I'll be here along the way if you have questions or concerns. Thanks for watching.
Thanks man.! I just got my free testosterone checked and I'm 5% away from being considered low. That's low enough for me to start looking for solutions. The low symptoms you described sound like me and made me laugh. I haven't checked your CZcams channel yet to see if you've already answered this question, but how much does your trt cost per month?
Just received my labs today, and measured in at 200 t level. Start my test tomorrow. Excited for the journey.

That's great, man! You're going to feel a difference within the first week to a month.
What dosage did your doc put you on if you don't mind me asking?
Here for you if you need me (or us...we are a community).
How you feel now? More energy? Less depression? More libido?
Before TRT, I was tired all the time, had very little energy, and quite frankly, feeling depressed. I've only been on TRT for a few weeks (weekly injections), but overall mood and energy levels are up a lot! I feel like I have a hop in my step, plenty of energy to work both my jobs and go to the gym, and just feeling better all around. I went to a doctor specializing in this area of low t and they diagnosed me with low t. Definitely go see a specialist in this area, not your regular primary care physician. If your primary care physician orders the blood test for low t, and you fall in the certain range, he will say you have normal t levels. But a specialist orders a lot more blood work. Great video, you are spot on in your analysis. I feel the same way you do, although I didn't take body measurements, but mentally and physically, I feel great! :)
This is all so good to hear. I’m happy for you.
Thanks for watching and commenting! God bless.
I'm a Dr. myself and yea, so many just say "stfu you're in the reference range" lol. They often dont treat based on a lab test, rather than going by a patient's reported symptoms. Also they likely arent familiar with HRT and dont wanna read up on it due to laziness, honestly. I don't work in the office anymore but I dod help one patient in residency with low T and he felt way better 🙏🏻
I was 147 pounds in the 9th grade...if only I could get back down to that.
You want to be 147 pounds???
Thank you for helping me do my first injection. The only thing I did differently was I injected into my quad.
It was super easy thank you.
Awesome. Now you're officially in the club. :-)
Avoid the quad way more nerves and so forth to go wrong upper glute is easy ❤️
The mood thing....man I feel it. I'd be frustrated one second like a child, then sad and emotional the next like a woman on her period. It was awful.
dude. that was all me before trt.
You're funny. You know what causes it? That had me cracking up lol But with 5 youngins your T couldn't have been THAT low lol.
Seriously though, I should get my blood checked. I think I have the symptoms.
That's what I was thinking or she's crazy fertile
Hi man good honest video!what should I be asking for when getting my bloods done!?
Forgive my slow reply.
When you get blood work done you're going to want to know (at least) these three things:
1. Your T level
2. Your estrogen level (men's bodies convert extra T into estrogen, so if your estrogen is getting too high you need to reduce how much T you're injecting)
3. Your red blood cell count (too much T can also increase your red blood cell count and thicken your blood, which would mean you need to decrease how much T you're injecting).
These 3 things would need to be checked within the first year. Once you get your dosage 'just right' after a year or so (because it can take a few adjustments to learn where your body likes it best) you can probably just get by with checking T and estrogen.
Hope this helps.
