Have you known anybody with Testosterone Implants and how well does it work?
Nope, only shots, creams and the patch . . .
Have you heard of Hone? I think it used to be called Peak.
Thanks for your info. Just starting my journey and have so many questions. Hone wants $120 "subscription fee"+ $28 for the meds monthly. Your monthly seems much more reasonable for those of us operating without insurance. Did you just take your let's get checked results to your GP? How did you find them? Is there a vid where you discuss how you get your test? Thanks much for your info. New sub here for sure!
@@meeyatch69 Since testosterone is a controlled substance, your doctor will have to conduct his own tests. Getting a test kit from LetsGetChecked is really for your own personal information. Some people just want to know if they have low T at all. Others like to check their numbers more frequently than their doctor does once they get on TRT (maybe to make sure their levels aren't high or low, or to see if estrogen is getting too high).
LetsGetChecked reached out to me after I hit 5K subscribers and asked if I'd like to promote their product since it aligns with my channel so well. Of course I'm sure you're aware that I get a percentage of each sale that's purchased through my link. So that's how all that happened.
And yes, there's a video I do that's all about the first time I used one of their kits and I explain the process at the same time.
Just do a search for TRT Community At Home Test Kit Review.
Thanks for watching and for the sub. I welcome any followup questions you might have.

Just to give you guys some comparison from a guy over the pond in UK.
I go through a private service as some of our doctors are a little behind on male hormones, so we have private company's whom specialise in TRT/HRT for men.
I pay ÂŁ100 per month which includes my prescription of test Cypionate and 6 monthly consultation with the doctor. Every 6 months I pay ÂŁ75 for a FULL blood panel which shows you everything. I pay separately for needles and swabs to but they are relatively cheap to purchase.
Great content and keep up the great work on spreading awareness of male hormones and how it can literally change people's life.
Thanks for the info, I have just had my levels checked and found out I am low so will likely be starting TRT soon, I'm 27 so the price is fairly intimidating for someone my age haha.
May be a silly question but would you say its been worth it so far?
What service do you use? How much were initial consultations? Kinda crazy that you have to pay ÂŁ112.50 a month for a ÂŁ25 vial of test. đź

2 doctor visits a year, 2 labs, blocker, and 200mg a week is about $56 a month. Thatâs out of pocket with good rx at my local Publix. I go to a local wellness clinic. All in 1ml vials.

Im 32 and my levels were low. Got a prescription for trt, my insurance covers it so I only pay $8 a month that includes 1ml weekly for a month supply with needles included
But how much are they paying for the health insurance thatâs allowing them to pay less than $50/mo
My testosterone fell cost about $460 per box of 30 tubes. I need 2 boxes a month. I have insurance with a deductible of $70 per 90 days of testosterone. If I had no insurance I would be sunk. Iâm thinking about switching to injections because I get static from my insurance provider every time I need a new prescription.
I use a TRT clinic rather than a conventional doctor's office with scripts. Could I get this kind of savings from a primary care provider? Just asking out loud. đ
Does your vial say itâs manufactured in Portugal by hikma? If so whenâs the expiration date?
Just wondering how do you go about finding a doctor to see if you need trt. Is there a walk in clinic like urgent care or do you need a referral for specialist or can you just call any endocrinologist?
So when I was having my negative symptoms I didn't know what was wrong with my. I googled the closest general practice doctor to my home. He's the one who found out I had low T and he started me on TRT. Later on he did sent me to a specialist once (which I'm thankful for) because he did much more thorough testing.
Thankfully, I do have primary hypogonadism, which means the problem is with my testes. So starting my on TRT was the right thing for my general practice doc to do. Had the problem been secondary hypogonadism (meaning the problem is with the glads close to my brain that send signals to my testes) then starting me injecting testosterone wouldn't have been the right route. A specialist would know these things and test for these things.
I love my general practice doctor and still use him for my regular visits and he's the one who writes my prescription every 6 months. But you should see a specialist after your gen prac doctor does his part to see if you indeed have low T or not.
Hope this helps.
Iâm in the Washington DC area, and Iâm paying $300 per month. That seems to be the average for this area. Insurance covers nothing unfortunately. I paid far less when I was in Texas.
Is it better to take the injection in the am, mid-day or evening?
Before during or after food?
If I have a thing about needles(no likie) and poking myself. What can I do? What are my options?what's out there for me? Pl ty
Btw what are the Spartan metals for?
I've done it at all different times of day, on an empty stomach and after a meal. I've not seen that it had any greater positives or negatives either way for me personally.
I would say this though...do it when it's most convenient for you and when it will be easiest to remember.
I never thought there would come a day that I would forget to inject, but after doing it for 3+ years now, sometimes I forget it's injection day.
Hope this helps.
Hey. I'm in my early 40s. Quit drinking in 2016. Health started failing in 2017. I'm tired and have no energy. What's the cheapest way to get testosterone tested at home and are the GNC Healthy Testosterone vita packs legit? Any idea? Thanks man. Maybe I should just asked my doctor and do it through him instead of buying the kit? What do any of you think about this?
You can use the at-home kit that I mentioned in the video, which is also in the pinned comment. But if your T level is low, your doctor will have to do a test of his own before he can prescribe TRT. So you might be better off just going to your doctor.
As for the T boosters at GNC, donât waste your money. Iâm not saying they have no value at all, but theyâre costly and if you have genuine hypogonadism (low T) then they arenât what you need anyway.
Hope this helps. Iâll be here along the way if you have any more questions. Just leave it in any of my 60+ videos and I should see it.
Any good buying tips like GoodRx you mentioned please?
In the UK some clinics charge a monthly fee for being a member with them which would add about an extra $600 per year

just came across your channel. good info, thank you!!! do you not take estrogen blockers with your trt because I didnât see that cost tacked onto your total
Thanks for watching. I'm happy to hear you're benefitting from the channel.
No sir, I don't take an AI. I have at one time, back when I was first getting started and my doctor had me on 150mg/week. But then I realized that I could decrease the amount I take, still keep my negative symptoms away at that amount, and not need the AI.
I prefer to take a more simple route with all this. I wish I didn't even have to be on TRT. Since I do, I only want to inject what I need. That way I won't aromatase the extra over into estrogen and thus, not need to reduce my estrogen.
It took me a little while to find that 80-90mg/week, and splitting that up into 2 injections per week, is what works best for me. But it keeps me from taking another medication (an AI) and therefore saves me money too.
Hope this helps. đ

I understand. Start with your doctor. Heâll do a checkup and also check your blood. Because if youâre actually having negative symptoms messing up your life due to low testosterone, it will show up in your blood work. Once he sees that you indeed have low T heâll likely prescribe you testosterone.

Are you using a TRT clinic? If so, theyâll handle everything in house in order to keep you coming back there.
Since testosterone is a controlled substance, in order for you to get it from somewhere else besides them, theyâd have to send in a prescription of it for you, like to a local pharmacy. If itâs one of the pharmacies on the goodrx app (Walmart, Walgreens, Target, etc) then you could get a discount.

â@@SlumberPM The TRT clinic and your regular MD will likely not work together. The clinic wants to operate as it's own thing and keep everything in house.

I don't diet as well as i should so I could have lost more. my goal was 100lbs. but i'll take 55. lately I've had a little bit of a snag in my motivation. I was self imposing myself at 150 a week even though my scrip is higher but it negatively impacted my get up and go. I do best with levels in the 800+ range. 150 keeps me at about 600. I will say that on 400 there is nothing that will stand in your way, but obviously its probably not all that good for you :) Anyways. that's my honest experience. so far.
@@Turk10mm Sounds like you had great results! Do you use only testosterone, or do you also use AI (estrogen blockers) and/or Gonadorelin?
@@widehotep9257 I only use T but have an AI available if I feel like Iâm having any sides. 1/4 pill once or twice a week has kept me in check when over 200
@@Turk10mm Thanks a million!
So I have to take around 300mg due to my SHBG being very active. And I pay $180 for about 7 weeks worth.
I had a prostatectomy due to prostate cancer. I have Medicare and a supplemental insurance. They pay 100%
I did my test using your code and it said is normal but it is on the limit of the high, how do I get testosteroneee
Wow, my 1st visit is $300 bloodwork and $450 consult. Not sure what it is after that though
So who's your provider which is the best and most affordable online?
I use the Walmart pharmacy and get a nice discount using the GoodRX app.
I donât have any experience with online options so I wonât be much help there unfortunately.
Can anyone tell me how to actually get testosterone what do I tell my Dr is there anyway around going to the Dr how do I get the most vials from the Dr please help
It would be interesting to know the costs for out of pocket payers and how to switch from one TRT company to another.
Out of pocket in my area is $226 but pay $136 with insurance.
Im in the $200 but that includes the Doctor, AI, Testosterone , needles, and HCGâŠnot sure if thatâs too much compared to others.
I pay the same in car insurance if not more just to never get in an accident anyways. How can optimizing your health and being the best version of yourself not be worth it?
My clinic that Iâm going to use is 230 a month. That covers every including blood work every 6 months. They check prostate markets too. It seems expensive but my doctor and endocrinologist will not help me.
What's a prostate going for on the prostate market these days?
@@redcapote4760 lol
4:00 đyour hilarious. get this man sponsored goodrx
Thanks, mate. đ
I'm currently paying $240 a month for my TRT. I'm currently on 140mg per week Test C split into 2 doses with .5mg anostrazole twice a week.
@@PeacefulLif333 I am aware. Thanks
Can you provide your doctor's contact ? I don't want to go through the TRT clinic they are too expensive..
Sure. www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-barry-mccleney-2lm9y
Iâm paying 250 to a clinic right nowđźâđš might need to go about it another way lol. You can buy it online?
Not sure about buying it online. Iâve always bought it from a pharmacy. It requires a doctorâs prescription.
do do I find a Dr in my area that will prescribe TRT?
I was $200 a month through a clinic. Through my PCP itâs under $50 a month.
Do you have any recommendations on doc or clinic?
Only if you live close to Trussville, AL. Iâd recommend my general practice doctor.
Otherwise Iâm sorry, my friend. Iâm not going to be much help there.
I currently pay $150 per month at a TRT clinic. I checked with my primary to see if I could get it through him and he told me to talk to my urologist. Just wondering if anyone has gone that route and if so, what are the pros/cons??
I've got a video about that. It may help. It's called "Which Doctor Should I Use."
I'm in UK I pay ÂŁ125.00 for test and Hcg
Do you check other stuff like SHBG, liver and kidneys?
I don't personally, no. But I believe LetGetChecked has at-home kits for checking all those if you're interested. Check the pinned comment for the link and 25% discount code if you're interested.
Im guessing you dont use HCG if not why?
How long does it take to get the test kit??
Sorry, just seeing this. After ordering the kit you should get it in a week's time.
I started at a clinic, but after a couple of years went to a primary care physician who agreed to do it. The clinic was around $2100 a year. Total ripoff and no insurance coverage for that. Not sure why because they gladly pay for most of my prescription from my primary care physician. Now, here's the good part. I take 150 mg per week. I dose twice a week. For some strange reason my doctor felt it necessary to write the prescription for 75mg 2 times per week instead of just a simple 150 mg per week. The vials the pharmacy issues are 1 ml 200mg/ml (one time use only) vials. They tell me to use what I need and throw the rest away. Remember, I'm expected to use 2 per week. Are you following me here? I'm getting 400 mg per week! Now, I'm not using this much, but it's available. Kind of crazy right? Best part is I only pay $7.57 for 10 of these vials. I can go back every 35 days.
Nice! Yes, I reuse vials until they're empty too. I ain't throwing any testosterone away. It's like liquid gold to guys like us with low T.
Thanks for watching and commenting. đ
Greenville mens clinic (its the only one) is where I started but now I get it from my doctor. @@mff1308
Iâm paying 25 a week for each shot. And then 80 quarterly for labs. So 1232/Yr
I live in Hawaii and they quoted me $225 a month before I even got tested. I thought that was way too high. However, I'm contemplating paying it because my wife is extremely upset..
Revibe?
Anyone have any resources/places to get cheaper labs? Some of these labs are ridiculing in what theyâre charging.
Check out Life Extension or maybe Let's Get Checked.
Going through my insurance I paid ~$30 total for fourteen 10 ML Vials. I then paid $30 for a 100 pack of 23g 3ml syringes, $10 for a 100 of 18g needles, and $5 for 200 alcohol pads from Amazon.
So $75 in total but the needles will last a while.
So, not counting the one time cost for the syringes, I pay just under $9 a month for TRT
Nice. đ
I am confused as to who prescribes the medication for the TRTâŠthe kit that they sendâŠor what doctor of your are talking about
You'll have to go see a doctor. He will do your bloodwork and see if you have low testosterone or not. If so, he may prescribe testosterone and then you'd begin TRT (testosterone replacement therapy).
The kit you're asking about is something different (if it's the kit from Lets Get Checked that I think you're referring to). That's simply a test sent to your house where you send a blood sample back to them and they check your blood to see if you have low T or not. They are not doctors and cannot prescribe testosterone. They just tell you if you have low T or not.
The doctor I was referring to at the beginning is just a general practice doctor, but you can also see a specialist like an endocrinologist or urologist.
Hope this helps.
Have you used any HCG along with the T
Thanks for watching and for your question.
No sir, only testosterone cypionate.
It's nice to see someone that looks like the average guy explaining trt in a way the average guy understands and can do.
Glad I could help, my friend. Thanks for watching and commenting. đ God bless.
I get 10mil of test Enthanate and test proproponate (months supply) ÂŁ80.
Edit: the syringes, swabs ect are free in the UK
Just did some research for TRT in the UK. Can't find anything lower than ÂŁ1300 -ÂŁ1500 per year taking into account everything. BTW, first you start with consultation ÂŁ200 and blood work ÂŁ180 before you even start anything. This is robbery
If you shaved the beard and kept the mustache, Iâd would say your Ned Flanders! Lol
I pay 240$ or more per month. But I get 60 ml of test a year and 15 ml of nandrolone a year
I'd like to see him attempt to use an Insulin rig to injection testosterone. It would take a month just to draw it in, and another to push it out.
I do use an insulin syringe now for my deltoid injections. 28 gauge. Itâs not too bad. Yes, takes a little longer to draw out of the vial and inject but no biggie. Anyway smaller than 28g would be a pain though.
Good video..
I appreciate that. Thank you for watching.
