@@thedoge9738 You don't have to be a genius to get into Harvard. Testing well and being a genius are two different things. Harvard just accepts people who test well and have exceptional grades in school and do extracurricular activities like music, debate club etc. People who test well and have exceptional grades aren't necessarily smart in other ways like emotional intelligence or good speakers. While Harvard is the top university in the world and a lot of smart people go there it doesn't mean the people who go there are genius. For example if you have average or worse grades it doesn't make you a dumb person, you just don't do well on paper. If you're getting all Fs chances are you're not the smartest and lazy. But struggling in school doesn't make you a dumb person.

Riya S Yes of course! My biggest suggestion in applying is to have ONE BIG passion, whatever you want, and show how you took it far and beyond throughout your application. Hope that helps!
@@maxstark10 thank you for the reply...since you are already there, do you think there is an advantage in applying early or regular? One of my shower though is that, I bet all the smart, prepared and competitive kids would throw their application in early...so maybe I should wait to apply regular? Hahah this sound funny out loud. But what do you think?

Hi! I got in class of 2025 and I just got my dorm info and this is the only video I can find on Hollis, and it seems great!! I was wondering if maybe you can clarify on some things were there originally and what weren't? For ex, I can tell that the table and wardrobe was prob there, but I don't think the nighttable was. Did the room also come with a lightstand?
Congratulations! Hollis is AMAZING!!! You were super lucky! Originally, Harvard only provides a desk, chair, closet, bookshelf, light stand, and a drawer for clothes. I brought everything else. I hope that helps! See you on campus!

@@Moonwalker8212 haha don't worry, bed is provided, though it may be a harder mattress than most people are used to, so I recommend a mattress topper.

¨Hello, I'm not really sure if you have done any "a day in the life of harvard student" video but I would love that! I am, everyone I've seen doing their college video, they try to make it fun except it doesn't really speak the truth when they show you just "i wake up, morning routine, then off to 1 class for 3 hours and then they all do their fun activities not related to the collage at all as if every harvard student has one class and then 3 hours of solo study a day, can't be true, can it? Cuz my college was nothing like that at all :)
