Wow - this is wonderful! Right in the middle of a posh-looking neighborhood. Florida is really ideal.
The eggplants will lighten in colour when the ripen. They become dull in colour. They should be picked when they are shiny.
I think what's happening here is that the covering ("Greenhouse") is protecting the plants normally sensitive to the Florida sun, but at the same time allowing enough rays past the material for photosynthesis.
Love these kind of videos. Love seeing how other home gardeners do their thing. It is all very inspirational and educational for me. Thanks
