  • The Sage SOV860BSS4GUK1 smart oven air fryer is stylish, easy to use and has preset modes for grill, toast, crumpet, bake, roast, pizza, reheat, warm, air fry and slow cook. You can control the temperature, cooking time and even how light or dark you would like your toast and the amount of slices.
    The unit itself has a nice brushed stainless steel finish which looks smart in any environment, and can also be cleaned easily too. There's plenty of accessories included that feel good quality, and work in different positions e.g. 1, 2 or 3 depending on what you're cooking, there's a built-in fan and light. Located on the right hand-side is a large digital display, 3 turnable control knobs, a power button and four little buttons for smaller functions such as the light, fan and much more. It's all easy to use and we didn't really need to look at the instructions to figure it out, as there's labels next to the buttons and it's pretty intuitive.
    Our first impressions are great, we look forward to using it and will share any feedback we have here, thanks for watching and if you liked the video feel free to subscribe I've also put a link below to this product.

    Get yourself a hysapientia 24L far superior to this sage oven. No pre-heat, got rotisserie function, best bit.....half the price, marvellous machine 👏 👍

    It’s a fantastic Oven Air Fryer, I’ve loved using mine. Only take 4 mins to pre heat I put my food in while it’s preheating.
    I do my toast in it, air fry chicken, bake banana bread and done a pizza. French fry chips come out perfectly and it takes half the time to do them. Bacon 🥓 is perfect in it as well (just put the baking tray under it to catch the fat!).

    Mine came yesterday but know destruction book, but I think everything will be online to find, never used it yet but I think it’s a chuck it in and select relevant setting and let the oven do the rest.

    I've just ordered the Sage fast slow pro for doing lamb shanks, stews etc. Would this air fryer be good for that type of cooking as I notice there is a slow cook setting on it. TIA

    Just got mine recently and I airfried a piece of steak in the basket and I put a little water in the bottom tray so the fat cud drop and into but wasn’t happy when all steam started coming out from the sides and around door, why was this?

    Thank you for this video! Can the baking tray be placed on the bottom level, at the same time as the air fry tray (when its placed on either the middle or top rack)?
    I’m wondering if (at the same time) chicken thighs can be cooked on the baking tray (bottom level) and have fries on the air fry tray (on the middle level).
    If there’s not enough room, would it work if the air fry tray was on the top level?

      @DanielJohnHowTo  Před rokem

      It needs to be one item at a time due to space, we have tried this. We cooked pizza and chips, but the chips hadn't cooked enough with the air fryer setting.

      @@DanielJohnHowTo
      But would space allow the chicken thighs to fit at the same time on the baking tray (bottom level), or are you just saying it would take longer to finish cooking?
      Would your pizza have finished cooking if it was left in there (longer than the cooking time recommended) on the air fry setting when you tried at the same time with your chips?

  • @TheDeadofNightAmbience

    The oven started to rattle quite a bit after a few minutes on the first try. I switched it off. Do you think it could just be the metal getting hot?

    good video, but the jury is out as you have not used it yet.
    i am looking for an airfry oven but some of the sage/breville models can take up to 20 mins to reach max temp, from what i have read.
    dont know if that relates to this model, so on with the search

    • @DanielJohnHowTo
      @DanielJohnHowTo  Před rokem +1

      Thanks for your comment, since the video we have used it cooking various items and it works very well. In regards to reaching max temp, it does have a preheat stage before cooking but that's only for a few minutes, definitely not anywhere near 20mins.

      @@DanielJohnHowTo sounds good this model is on my shortlist. regarding the 20min warm up, i will have to check back where i have seen this and see if it is a differnt model. i have watched and read so many reviews lately and may have got my wires crossed. thanks for the reply 👍

      I am not sure what to use when I airfry using the basket and say marinated chicken wings drop juice below. Should I be putting the tray over the lower heating elements to protect them? The instructions are pathetic!

    Hard to keep clean and twice the price of a "Sage-a-like" that has more features, cleans easier, and comes with more accessories...!

    Where is the stainless steel bro? Interior is steel not stainless, after cleaning with oven cleaner will rust bad. At this price?

    • @DanielJohnHowTo
      @DanielJohnHowTo  Před 6 měsíci

      the body of the oven e.g. outside is stainless steel which you can clean with the correct cleaner because oven cleaner is corrosive.

    Thanks for the review, but how can you give it a score of 10 when you haven't put any food in it, and still have plastics on everything. Not a very honest review

    • @DanielJohnHowTo
      @DanielJohnHowTo  Před rokem +1

      true not a 100% review, just unboxing and basic operation 10/10 since then we have used it a lot and no issues cooks everything as it should if that's any help.

    I can't believe that you 2 guys can't open a box and remove the contents without all that fuss, it is really easy to do. All that shaking and moving about with the camera gave me motion sickness. How about one of you do the filming and the other the demonstrating? And don't be so messy!

    Sage Smart Oven Pro - not stainless steel interior at this price ? The customers must be total idiots. At this price I can get full size oven, +200 and it autocleans itself.
