    I think it will be great to adopt some safety protocols to ensure the safety of the workers. ie, respiratory hazards to health, a hard hat to protect against any moving object that could potentially hit someone. Probably analyzing the samples you took to know what you could be drinking. Thanks for the video 🙏🏾

      Appreciate the concerned raised. The borehole drilling was undertaken by a private company and we did raise some of concerns with the workers and we believe they will put some of these safety measures in place.

    What schedule PVC were used for the casing .thanks

    • @adetional
      @adetional Před 2 měsíci +1

      Going by the video, they used 6-inch pipes for casing. Also, for the PVC pipes, he explained that they dug 100ft, which is about 30 meters. 1 PVC is 3 meters, so approximately, 10 PVCs will be used, or maybe a little one with a few lengths added to it.

      @wilakah Před rokem

      That is the filter pack and it is supposed to filter the groundwater around the perforated (screen) PVC. Technically, the filter pack should fill up to the entire length of the perforated screen. Also note that the size of the pebbles used is dependent on the slot size of the screen.

      Usually locations close to the seaside tend to be salty. There are laboratories where you can carry out tests to check the purity and establish if the water is suitable for drinking. You will definitely need a filtration machine in our case.

    IS A BOREHOLE (WELL) NEEDED FOR MOST HOMES IN ACCRA, TEMA AREA?
    HOW OFTEN DOES THE MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM STOP?

    • @weltonpropertyadvisory4994
      @weltonpropertyadvisory4994  Před 3 lety +2

      It will depend on the location of the building. Most commercial office or retail buildings are connected to the national water system provided by Ghana Water Company but some may opt for borehole as a more cost effective solution long-term. There is hardly any power outages but having a Standby Generator is always a good thing especially if you are operating a commercial facility with multiple tenants.
