    200G PLAIN FLOUR
    20ML OIL
    50ML WATER
    OIL FOR FRYING

    Hello, can we use a coconut flour instead of all purpose flour? Thanks

      I'd say try it but probably not, coconut flour doesn't contain gluten so you won't get the doughy stretch that you need for rolling.

    Thanks for the recipe. Any Mauritian recipes with cauliflower? I ate this cauliflower dish Years ago and it was so delicious. I cannot remember what it was called!

    How much oil you pyt to mix with flour
    The water is hot or lukemarm

    So easy. Can you do the same with wholemeal flour or will it not work as well?

      You can but it won't be as soft you'll need to rest it to help soften the dough

      No one cares. Where I am from this is just plain roti and actually paratha is something with coconut, just enjoy the recipe instead of feeling the need to be snide.

      Nonsense. Roti needs that kind of oil for flavour and texture. Don't like it either don't make it or use less oil! You think frying flour is healthy? Crazy
