Coos Bay Rail Line Bridge swinging open

This is a pretty shaky video taken from a boat, but I have rarely seen the bridge moving so took the opportunity when it presented itself. I'm not sure why it stopped before being fully opened, but it seems like they were testing it quite a bit this fall. One thing this shows is the swing speed, which might be of interest to train and infrastructure enthusiasts. The wind wasn't blowing very much but the passage of other boats created enough wave action that I had a hard time holding the camera steady. The camcorder has pretty good stabilization, and I am fairly well practiced in getting steady shots while on the water, but I couldn't hold steady enough this time, partly due to having to zoom in pretty far. I have another short video, where I was much closer, almost under the bridge when it was moving, that I'll post soon.
