A bit late but, when you input any special move you actually have a few frames where you can input the opposite direction you are facing to reverse the move. It is a really useful option with some characters as you aditionally switch your momentum mid air while charging or launching projectiles. Sorry for the bad english, not my first language T-T

as far as I know you can't. you bounce up if you land a hit on your opponent and it refreshes your dair
