friend safari is normal a fast shiny method. There is still that rng factor that prevents you from finding a shiny pokemon

I'm a little scared but very pleased. (It was the first encounter while watching this video, too; I didn't see any more Pokemon in the first safari I was in).

You just have 2 shiny options instead of 3. If you only have 2 you can still find a shiny Pokémon 👍

It’s been a WHILE since this method came out and since then, but I’ve heard mixed comments about the shiny odds in the safari, what are the exact odds? Does anyone know?
The Shiny Charm actually doing effect the odds on the friend Safari, I think without charm it’s a 1/819 and with shiny charm it’s around a 1/550

The first time I tried to find a shiny in the safari, it took me 77 encounters. Now I’m trying to do it again, but I’m at 400 encounters with no success. I’m starting to hate this game more than how much a 14 year old Billie Eyelash fan hates her mom.

+Brandon G don't be frustrated, it is luck pretty much. I tried this method and got a shiny after 75 encounters, but my second i got it after 400 straight encounters so don't think your doing it wrong you just need to be pacient enough to reach that shiny moment.

Dont worry about Roar or Whirlwind. Those moves always fail if you're a higher level than the pokemon using the move

sweet scent is used for hordes yes. Using sweet scent in friend safari doesn't really help :/
