All of train class in Indonesia now day with AC from the lowest class to the most expensive class. In some class with LCD TV, free WiFi on board, free meals and snack, free blanket. FYI, Jakarta has many train station, Senen station for the economy class to central and east Java, Gambir station for the luxurious and economy premium to Bandung, central and east Java. Manggarai station will be the Integrated modern biggest main central station but still in progress ( finish 2025 ), and Halim station for bullet train from Jakarta to Bandung ( will opening August 18. 2023 ).

    Trains in Indonesia have three castes, one of the highest or most expensive class is called the luxury sleeper, the second is the executive economy for the middle class, and the lowest caste is the one you climb, namely the economy, which is usually only ridden for short distances.

    • @Si_nengatcha
      @Si_nengatcha Před rokem +2

      @@TheBackpacksters it's actually economy (2-3 seats back to back), economy premium (2-2 fixed facing seats) - business (almost like economy but better by bit) - executive (2-2 seats, small table on armrest, reclining, seats can be turned around) - luxury/sleeper (generation 1 has 1-1 seats with Brown upholstery, generation 2 has 1-2 seats with blue upholstery).
      All trains are air conditioned.

    • @ndorobei4391

      @crownz05 Před rokem

      @@TheBackpacksters The Executive train in Indonesia is mostly named with the word "Argo". Originally, the "Argo" class is one step above the rest of the Executives. However, nowadays, almost all Executive classes are the same as Argo train. For Jakarta - Jogja, i think they are around $ 35-36 one way.
      On top of the executive class, there are two levels: Priority and Luxury. Priority cost around $ 60-65 from Jakarta to Jogja one way. Luxury cost around $ 80-90 from Jakarta to Jogja one way.
