I always play fs22 with my friends and recently got a new pc so I downloaded a few mods so we can play together and it shows I have the exact mod they have in fs22 but when I go to join the game it says I don’t idk what to do and I can’t play
So I have the issue where they don't show up in my game at all, and in the log it says "cannot load xml file 'ModDesc'" but when I open the file it's in English for me and the ModDesc version is 77

I can finde the mod in modhub but not in the game when i going to buy it go you know Why?
Well it shows on the installed page but not on the page when i want to load the savegame at the part where it asks me to select DLC/Mods.
I really need help so what’s happening is it’s showing up in the mod manger thing but while I go into the map it dosent show up in the activation thing got and tips?

What is the modesc versions for fs22?
Some mods I have downloaded are known fs22 mods that will show up in the modhub downloaded but when I get in game they aren’t in the game and I’ve even asked the creator of one of the mods and he had no clue
That is kind of odd....I'm trying to think of what would cause that but can't figure it out.

You need to use the select tool to select all 2x and it should work
mine wont let the game not start
How do I unpack zip files I’m trying to get the no creek farms row crop and it won’t show up and I think that might be the problem
Hi Carter, if you’re running windows you can right click on the zip file and select extract all. Windows will extract the zip file into a folder for you. Hope this helps!
What if the mod shows in the installed bit but won't show up on the select mods page when you create a game?
That’s a good one. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that. I’m guessing it would have to do with the moddesc file somehow. Do you have an example I can look at?
@@rqsgaming I managed to fix it in the end. It was because I had downloaded it twice and the brackets with a number was blocking it 😂

I’ve had that problem occasionally. In order to work around that I extract the zip file into a folder. Then make the changes you want to the file, save it. Then you can zip up the contents of the folder into a zip file and put that back into your mod folder.

I still can't see mods, all I see is internal mods. I installed Farming Sim 22 on the Epic Games Store and have tried reinstalling it but didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

its 2017 Ford F series ext cab by, Rental man Buch
I think i see what the problem might be. The mod that says CAB ONLY needs the original 1st mod since this is just an addon. Try this link for the original F Series truck. mod-network.com/fs22-mods/detail/5315/2017+Ford+F-Series Then you have to unzip and add the cab only mod files into the original mod.

All my mods are in the mod folder and they still don’t work
No mods are working? I would start by making sure (sorry, don't mean to be rude) that they are all for FS22 or whatever version you're playing. Second, make sure the folder is called "mods" all lower case. Next if you're playing on Steam it might be a good idea to verify the installation files. Or even reinstall the game. Last, in the gamesettings.xml file look at the first line. It should look like this " "
If it is set to True then replace it with false (all lower case). Good luck!
Hey thanks for the response so I ran into the issue were a lot of my mods won’t work but some will like for example fs miners d10 mod won’t work for me but I was able to get the Yukon valley mod, it’s like that with some other mods too it lets me have some of the mods but others won’t show up

I'm having that same issue got the same mods download that the squad and rhino use and other big name CZcamsrs have and I either get a loading circle in store with nothing showing up but there installed or I get mods that are in file but don't show in game@@dylanfreeman902

It only works in the pdlc it won’t work in the mod folder tho
