@@HardHeadMilitary It was odd, because I was looking at trucks when prices were already up. I think they even gave me $4,000 in Nissan cash. Nissan kept deals going for a while! I got $2,000 off for financing with the dealership. The only caveat was that they wanted me to wait at least 4 months to pay it off. They loaned at 4%, which isn't great. My credit union would go 1.9%. This is my first new vehicle and I'm 46 years old. It's my retirement gift to myself.I'm going to pay it off on August 26th! When covid settles down, I plan to take it on a nice trip out Wesr, where I've never been.

I've owned 3 titans, 06 King cab, traded in for a 2010 crew with the chrome package and traded that for a 2013 pro 4X crew cab and loved them all. They all performed better than expected. One of my co-workers a Chevy Silverado die hard owner said he would never buy a titan. So one day we went on a fishing trip and towed my 21' Sea ray Laguna from Augusta to Savannah. Needless to say, he's now a very proud Titan owner.

I bought a new 2021 Titan platinum reserve in April of ‘21. I have owned GMC, FORD and Dodge Trucks each for a minimum of 10 years each. I now have 8000 miles and am averaging 20 mpg on the freeway and locally 17-18 mpg while driving conservatively. Your friend is correct when looking at the value of this Titan and everything that comes with it standard like many of the safety electronics, adaptive cruise control, the ground clearance is better then the other big three trucks, the ride is smoother then the big three, the Endurance motor and rear axle ratio 3.69 is exceptional for towing or highway driving , the 9 speed transmission is awesome. When I was building up a ford or ram or gmc depending on the motor size and whether it was a v6 with turbo or V8 or some other motor size I could not get a V8 with a 3.55 or similar or if I wanted a red truck with a lighter interior it would only be black. There were to many choices and not all favorable but when I went to Nissan it was simple. One motor, the V 8 and one rear axle, the 3.69 and good exterior colors and a nice color interior. Oh and the 5 year 100,000 mile warranty.
So and this is actually the ONLY real pickup that is COMPLETELY made in the US in Tennessee. I do recommend this truck to all. There is so much more to talk about. 👍

I traded in an 07 Sierra for the 21 Titan. Some of the reasons I chose the Titan was because I too felt it was the best value for the $, I wanted the longer warranty especially considering the price of purchase for trucks these days, I also wanted a V8 (that sounds cool by the way) with out cylinder deactivation or start stop junk. I have 2700 miles on my Titan so far and I love it. The in town MPG ( for me is a little less than sticker) but that would be the only negative.

@@philtittle5618 , I don't have a majorly long commute. It's 5 miles to work and I live in suburbia so there is maybe 12 stop lights and similar in those 5 miles. This leads to about 13 MPG. I, love the V8 and sound of it so I accelerate quickly until I am about 10 MPH over the speed limit then maintain speed when able. The best MPG according to the truck calculation has been 21.5 miles on a 50 mile trip (I didn't get gas so unsure if it's accurate) but the best I have calculated is around 18 MPG on a 320 mile trip that had some traffic, some flat land, and some mountains. I just bought a 2023 Platinum Reserve. Non biased here, I can tell you that it got my attention due to the deal that I found on it. That is what lured me in to even give it a chance, however after driving it, I was sold. I have had pretty much all of the trucks out there, and the ones that I haven't, I have driven extensively. I say all of this to let you know that this truck is the real deal. Unless you need to tow over 9200 pounds (I think it will safely tow much more) then overlook this truck, if not, you owe it to yourself to give it a test drive just like I did and you will probably wake up in the morning seeing a Titan in your driveway. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying one out for yourselves.

I traded in a 2020 Ram 2500 Megacab Laramie w/Cummins for a 2021 Nissan Titan Pro-4x last weekend. The 2500 was more truck than I needed. Used car market is such that I made a fair bit of money to drive that truck for 16 mos and 27K miles. Though I had to make a road trip, I found a dealer that sold me the Titan 4K below MSRP. That still seemed expensive for a Titan but the best I could manage due the pandemic and chip shortage. I thought the Titan was going to feel like a step down. I was wrong. Obviously, it's a completely different experience from the HD, but I absolutely love it. I've always loved the way Titans look. That's subjective but the Titan does it for me. The V8 is mean and smooth. The 9-speed is a huge step forward. It's the 2nd best automatic transmission I've ever owned. (8-speed ZF in my 2018 Ram 1500 still takes the cake.) Build quality and reliability are great. Two small gripes: 1) Camera resolution is low. 2) Shifter lever is plasticky and flimsy feeling. This truck is seriously underrated and a fantastic value. Honestly, I have no idea why Nissan can't sell more of these. Driving it puts a huge smile on my face. Great video. Keep the awesome content coming.

Bought an 06 Titan new and then a 19 xd diesel last year. Gave my 06 to my son. It still looks and runs great. Bang for the buck is hard to beat. If you really want a deal find one that is one or two years old. Still have more warrant left than u get with other trucks. There not as popular with most people and don’t seem to hold resale as good so I’ve seen some really good deals on trucks with under 20 k miles on them.

I got almost $9000 off of true sticker which has been about average over my last 3 Platinums. And I have loved all of them. No problems other than a couple minor issues. But the power and ride of the F150’s has been wonderful. And my 2021 is unreal with everything including tech. Had it a year and got 20000 great miles on it. Will never buy another truck of any kind unless prices go back to normal. But I am so glad I bought my 21 platinum before the greed started. Nice Nissan though.

yes it is a shame, i think they went wrong with the cummins unfortunatly... they may have been early to market with a diesel in a half ton, but for such low sales as the titan, it really made no sense... and a diesel really doesn't make sense in a half ton to begin with... beauty engine, too big of a premium and too little to gain towing with it to make it make sense... I really still like the old style titan, and damn fine trucks... almost had one but went toyota instead

( It does have a 1,000 lb tow capacity )
