It's a bit odd to see the places that I'm so familiar with in your vlogs! haha but it's interesting to see the city through the eyes of someone who is exploring it :) There are plenty of great restaurants around Sydney, maybe you can check out Regent Place near Town Hall that has a bunch of interesting food spots amongst many others around the CBD that I've been wanting to try! I also would definitely recommend trying Satang Thai if you're a fan of Thai food!! Hope to see more of your Sydney adventures soon!

Hoorah for rent in Sydney. I must’ve been apartment hunting around the same time you were. Also, $13 cafe food? You’ll be surprised. I think cafe food here is also expensive.
Looks like you are using the RXO full time outside. It's doing OK but not too crisp and doesn't like low light shooting. The 6400 should cope much better but the RXO is small and handy. The apartment looks good but I hope you looked at several before deciding.
Yeah I have been using the RX0 a lot, the quality is definitely not as good but it's so convenient to use. Easier to carry around and people don't stare at you haha

we will eventually! At the moment we aren't looking to rent it out yet since I will be flying back quite a bit this year

I thought I was hallucinating when you said $80 a month! I live in nyc and it’s more like $1300 a month (if you’re really really really lucky) for a studio apt in queens (it’s worse in manhattan)!
Sydney rent is definitely not $80 a month. When did she say that?
I moved away from Sydney 4 years ago and when I left the rent for my apartment was AU$490 per week... and that was 4 years ago, before they renovated it! Probably like $600 now. And that's in an area nearly an hour from the city centre.
She said that the landlord would take down rent by $80 a month. But I'm assuming her monthly rent would be around $2000-$3000 per month.

I’m happy that your work makes you happy Kim, but you’re paying a mortgage in Perth, plus utilities. Then rent in Sydney that’s expensive AF. All’s I can say is good luck with your finances. We all know Australia is one of the most expensive countries to live in.
Yeah it is super expensive and with the mortgage as well it does make it a bit harder. Though we are ok! I've been pretty good with saving especially in the last couple of years!

Hi Kim n Eric welcome to Sydney,hope your stay will be a good one.. I know when it comes to accomodation,Sydney is not cheap but there are some cheap stuff you can do in Sydney I recommend taking public transport e.g trains,light rails,bus or ferry using your opal card on a Sunday cause it only cost $2.70(cap )for the whole day and u can go as far as the Blue Mountains,up to Newcastle or down towards Wollongong and try to subscribe to Broadsheet Sydney it will tell you what cafes or restaurant opening in Sydney ...Good Luck and enjoy Sydney😻😻😻
