There's more anger than humor in Drew's style. George Carlin could get away with it during his later sets because of his body of work, and....surprise surprise, there was still more humor than anger.
Let it be known that Drew's anger is cathartic though.

This guy is amazing. His honesty and vulnerability really hit me and made me think of my own shit I keep suppressed as well as how I think and consume comedy/comics/entertainers/entertainment. I saw you released a new special and I made sure to go watch it. That was one of the most raw and honest standups I've seen in recent memory. I'm a huge fan of Louis, Carlin, Stanhope and Hicks; and I got to be honest, I get just as much enjoyment out of watching your material as I do watching them. You say the things I think everyone feels deep down, but are too scared to say. I love when comedy touches philosophy and goes all introspective. That's where I think the stuff actually worth saying is found. Keep speaking your mind man, it's stuff worth saying and you have a talent that makes it worth listening to.

yes. they felt it was a good use of their limited time and energy on this planet to mock me for doing something they didn’t understand or even watch. and then their fans felt it prudent to show a sort of tangential fealty to their favorite co-hosts by trolling me. the level of emptiness and lack of empathy it takes to do all of that is heart breaking.
I tried to find the episode you were talking about (was it titled Euphoria?) and gived them a listen. I mean… they sound like they pass over a single brain cell when they talk.

@@drewm1chael they never said it was yours outright and I think they have gone out of their way to make sure they don't say it's you. Some people did the math and came to a conclusion who they were talking about. I love comedy and watch alot of stand up and no one's comedy is for everyone so there's always gunna be that. However for me personally it was a hard watch and hopefully upu can build off it.
